USB Overdrive 10.4.8 (Mac OS X)
Conflicts with PowerMate in Mac OS X 10.5.4
I recently upgraded to a new iMac with Leopard (10.5.4) and was dismayed to find that the PowerMate wasn't responding. Griffin tech support suggested uninstalling and reinstalling, and mentioned that USB Overdrive sometimes seems to conflict. Everything had been working fine on the previous iMac with Tiger. Bottom line: uninstalling both and reinstalling only PowerMate fixed the problem. Then installing USB Overdrive once again disabled the PowerMate. Disabling USB Overdrive didn't fix it, but uninstalling USB Overdrive got the PowereMate working again. So there's clearly a conflict between these two programs under Leopard. Bummer to have to choose between two of my favorite add-ons, but for now the PowerMate wins out. [alert admin]

LaunchBar 4.1.1 (Mac OS X)
I've been using LaunchBar for a long time, and have upgraded to each new release with no problems. But somewhere a few releases ago (I'm thinking 4.0.x) I noticed that the LaunchBar window stays visible on startup even though I have always had the Prefs set to hide it. I have to open LaunchBar prefs, select "Hide and show the bar automatically", and save prefs. But the next time I restart the Mac, the prefs have reverted to the default setting. I've tried removing the prefs files but that didn't help. Did I miss a file? [alert admin]

Menu Master 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
When I installed Menu Master 1.1.1, my PowerMate stopped working. Un-enabling MM in System Prefs restores PowerMate functionality. [alert admin]
