Calq 1.1 (Mac OS X)
This is so convenient. After installing, used it twice in half an hour surfing the web. A separator for thousands and number of decimal place would be appreciated. Stay critical using it, some results are strange : 123456.333 +1 =123457.335938 The basic idea is very appealing. It's there when you need it and out of the way when you don't. [alert admin]

I agree entirely with Raymond3, I have been through the very same ordeal. Ultralingua has no idea of explaining how to properly install an update, and yes I have told them. This application is also crying out for keyboard shorcuts. I also hate it when a translated word does not show up in the definition dictionary. Used to like it, but I'm starting to look elsewhere. Just plain old Sherlock is hard to beat for quick translations. It's free and it has much more languages. [alert admin]

ZeroBeat 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Thanks Collin for a great idea. I tried it on my old neglected classical guitar and was back in perfect tune in no time. [alert admin]

MakingMusic 1.2 (Mac OS X)
appeal. Wish the sound files where longer and also did not have to load every time, except if they change. I also wish I could give it more stars. Check out this programmer's Blues Music application for an amusing experience. [alert admin]

the Wacom tablet should not install the Procreate Painter Classic software that comes with their tablet. So many bugs it renders the 10.2 dock useless. Even force Quit is affected, you need to restart. Upgrade to v7 for $199? After reading most comments here, no way . Old users have probably invested time and money. But face the facts. You are shoveling you hard earned money in an ogre's pocket who hasn't the faintest idea of quality control and slams the door to feedback from their bread and butter customers. This is a ship drifting with no one at the helm. [alert admin]

DragThing 4.2.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
haven't fully explored this jewell. For example on the bottom left hand side of my screen I have a tiny 20x30pixel icon, a dock with the name URL on it. One click and I have this huge screen full of colored tabs that categorize my favorites sites. In all I have 22500 positions. to find a particular item takes about 3 seconds and poof!, the dock shrinks back to a tiny no obstruvsive icon. Same for any applications and documents. Dragthing is fast and full of other capabilities. [alert admin]
