GmailStatus 1.1.0 (Mac OS X)
For those of you experiencing the "missing icon" in this neat little program, I'm happy to announce that it seems to be back again with the newest release. Just be sure you've enabled "IMAP" on your Google Mail account, and you should be all set. [alert admin]

SpoofCard 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I can think of 100 illegal uses for this software, and only a handful of legitimate uses. Not the developers fault, for sure (plenty of other programs out there that do the same thing) but it doesn't help the gullible ones out there to avoid pfishing scams by telephone. Guess Caller ID is now a useless feature. [alert admin]

There's a Seeker Born Every Minute...
Here's an idea... spend $25 on a deck of REAL Tarot cards. Advantages are: 1. Never need to upgrade. 2. Nearly infinite spreads. 3. Never expires. 4. Never needs renewing. 5. share with your non-Mac friends. Please -- don't rip us off. If you're going to charge money for this thing, at least have the decency to offer a product that's out of beta. Add me to the list of "Whiners." G3 system, OSX 10.3.9 - Immediately after update, both Safari and Mail refuse to launch. I did NOTHING in between that could have caused this, and Firefox and IE are both unaffected. Note to the "lucky ones" so far unaffected. Remember that bugs don't always affect all users, or all users equally. Save your insults for people who actually think you're cute. [alert admin]

BushPanic 1.0.0 (Mac OS X)
Lighten up kids... the game is free, and it works. Challenging? Not particularly, but it's easy enough for a kid... or a pResident... to play. I'd like to see a "Boss" -- maybe Rush Limbaugh or similar Right-Wing puppet -- to blast every 10 levels or so, but the game is a good start from which to build. Thank you, author, for reminding us that Free Speech really is what this war is all about. [alert admin]

Arcade Invaders 1.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Two things this game has going for it: 1. It's FREE! (Thank you very much, author!) 2. It doesn't require a G5 and a meg of memory to play. Is there room for improvement? Of course. I look forward to future versions. For now though, the game is very playable, and fun. The aliens are really well done, and tricky... they change speeds. Nasty trick, that. :o) [alert admin]

Whiner huh? Guess you missed the news. Apple laid an egg on (some of) us. Bug reports are pouring in. My Story: G3 system, OSX 10.3.9 -- Safari and Mail refuse to launch. Usual fixes ineffective. Joining many others in the hope that another update can set things right. P.S. In the future, please remember that bugs do not always affect all users... think before typing your insults.
