For different opinions to that posted by zridling, you might like to take a look at the reviews for SnapMail on the Mac side of VersionTracker, where we have been around for many years. It appears that perhaps zridling has missed the point of SnapMail entirely, because indeed if you are trying to use it as a single user that's not what it was designed for. SnapMail is a messaging tool for small to medium sized LANs, and as such you will find it quite unique in that environment. Far from being hard to set up, on your local LAN SnapMail finds all users instantly. With its built in reminder system, templates, and "SnapBack" instant messages, you'll find that it is much more useful and productive than other in-house messaging systems. Finally, if you don't like how "loud" it is, in the preferences window SnapMail allows you to set the volume of each sound played separately. [alert admin]
