NightLights 1.0 (Mac OS X)

I like the…

concept, but it does really use way too much CPU. My dual 533 processors even had 89% usage with only 24 lights. My wishlist for this saver would be a different background (perhaps a window looking out at a snowy town?), smaller lights (for both mini and large), and less CPU usage. Good try, though. WeatherPop 1.6.1 (Mac OS X)

I LOVE this…

app...but I'm also having the same problem as everyone else, contact the administrator and such...is an update in the works? I hope so, because this one is worth keeping... [alert admin]

hmmmm I wonder…

why it is some of us have had absolutely no problems? Perhaps because we read the readme, or we maintain our systems property...hmmmm.... [alert admin]

I haven't experienced…

a single prob with this haxie...and I do have to say, I'm sick of people ragging on and on about how awful this and that is...if you experience problems, list them and keep your crappy attitude to yourself. Negativity is what keeps potential developers from releasing their products... It's just my two cents, but honestly, who likes to read the nasty comments left by these people? Oh, and I didn't d/l the beta 1, but the readme does warn you that the app is still in beta mode, and we all know that beta is not perfect...which the readme DOES state...if you are a newbie, and don't know what beta means, perhaps you should find out prior to downloading and installing such an app? Cemetery 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)

I decided to…

try it pre-10.2 as several reviews have said it's supposed to work...:( It doesn't work on my 533 G4 in 10.1.5...I'm waiting for the next few updates of Jag before upgrading, so I guess I will have to wait to use this saver...love the previews of it though, it looks really unique. Oh, and it didn't just not work, it smacked my computer down pretty bad. [alert admin]

Space Garden Meditations 2.3.1 (Mac OS 9)

This is truly…

a beautiful screensaver....however, I could never justify spending $50 on a screensaver, no matter how beautiful I thought it was. I would love to have an osx version, but I would never be able to buy it. [alert admin]

Xmas Lights 1.1 (Mac OS X)

A great concept...but…

on my screen, the "glow" of the flashing lights was cropped too small, giving a box around the glow. I agree with the others, the lights are all too far from the menu bar. Keep trying though, great idea! [alert admin]
