Apple iTunes 4.8 (Mac OS X)

Why not a 'What's new'? Because...

...there is'nt some new! By YEARS we are waiting, for example, for subfolders, had a unending patience for the heavy brushed metal ugly theme (a wasted opportunity to change it even in the Finder should have been Tiger... ), the 'duplicate finding' option, some wrong behaviours like to clear the inputs while you are writing in a field if the played song changes, the FACT that we are NOT alerted still in time when a file in playlist don't exist more in the Music folder so that we trash the only real file we have believeing it a duplicate.... We know that iTunes is still the best, and even Apple... but let us say that exactly for this they should defense the leadership... while at the moment I could imagine that there are many free space for a ... for example 'OmniTunes', why not? (Omn-iTunes? :-) We won't that iTunes becomes a new... wurgh.... sorry... 'internet expl... wurgh.... sorr... *god* well... you know... years of wasted leadership! But now that I sdee iPhoto 5.0.2 so happly crashing while importing corrupted files.. I can understand that at least iTunes is stable enough [alert admin]

A-Dock X 1.3.4 (Mac OS X)

Control-shift

By near ever, all the systems (Jaguar Panther and now even Tiger) and machines (iMac, iBook, PowerBook, Power PC G4) this (good) product gave me the following problem: control-shift refuses to open the contextual menu of the app itself! I tried even this last version and it functioned the first time and after... no more! The read me is far too simple, some commands like how to shift the position (shift-drag) are simply not mentioned, the preferences are not 'self explaining and no manual is included (tooltips? When? Where? For beginners, Ok, then?) [alert admin]

an impossible task?

I have many accounts... naturally, and not all need to be checked every minute... Could we have the possibility to have 'checking times' for each account?Complicate, I see.. we should change the checking mail preference at scheduled time... But.. well.. I ask.. ;-) [alert admin]

MobileUserSync 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Impossible to dowload it!

After selecting 'I'm agree' under the GNU license agreement, clicking 'proceed' does nothing! A pity, because it seems to be very useful for we that comes and go from our desktop needing to have with us all the most recent changes! [alert admin]

Mouse Locator 0.992b (Mac OS X)

Problem solved!

Quickly Douglas (the author) wrote me the answer to my needs (a Mouseindicator.png having a clean central area) that allows me to see what I'm selecting. Unfortunately for now the website shows only the Mouselocaror.png (the bigger shape that follows the cursor BEFORE to click it) and seems to be not jet a 'public solution', but it shows the attention paid to us users! Thanks and.. good job! I'm already waiting next developments of this lovely product! [alert admin]

Mouse Locator 0.992b (Mac OS X)

A little suggestion for an improvement

when I click, the cursor shows a little yellow area. Good. But if THEN I move the cursor 'holding clicked' (for example to select a part of a text) I can hardly see 'under' the yellow shadow to see exactly when I've ti finish the movement. The solution could simply be that at the moment I click-move the cursor, it stops to be highlighted, letting me see the underlying highlighted (selected) text and must stay 'inactive' even when I stop to move, so long as I stop to 'hold clicked' the cursor. Was I clear enough? In any case, windoz users that looks at my screen now says "Hey! Wonderful, this Apple idea!" ....and I have to explain that this in not a system built in functionallity! Must I add a better compliment???? ;-) Thanks a lot! [alert admin]

WebSucker 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Don't works as expected

I was not able to 'suck back' my own site! I had 'an overview' o it, but not the pictures! To a freeware I want not give 'one stars ratings'... but... there are other better freewares making the same out there! [alert admin]
