MacTheRipper 2.6.6 (Mac OS X)
It does what it claims it does. 
So far I have done "tests" on several DVD media discs, and so far it works just like it claims. DVD Player (OSX Tiger) plays the archived files just fine. [alert admin]

Fetch Art for iTunes 1.2.7 (Mac OS X)
I'm not sure what every else is complaining about, but so far the new Fetch Art application runs great on my old iMac. Too bad that my wife can't enjoy it on her iTunes on her Windooze machine. [alert admin]

iPods use .mp4 Video/AAC audio
I use Mediafork to convert DVD media to .mp4 video. It works.
