PhotoExpress 2.1 (Mac OS X)
PhotoExpress is the fastest way to crop, tune, add a watermark, and resize photos. Great price, great little piece of software! [alert admin]

ImageBuddy 2.9.7 (Mac OS X)
Nice to have background image support, but strange to allow it only in contact sheet mode and not layout mode also. Still waiting for scroll wheel support. Also could do with less of the "Appreciation Bonus" nag when upgrading. And the truncated, tiny drop down buttons make the app look unpolished. Other than that, good little app that does what it says fairly well. I don't regret purchasing this. [alert admin]

iViewMediaPro2Mail 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)
I'd stay away from this version...
The new registration system does not appear to work properly (claims my reg. code is invalid), and in demo mode, no pictures are transfered into the mail app. program. Reverting back to the previous version, billed as simply v2. works fine again. Hopefully these bugs will be worked out soon. This has become an invaluable little script plug in for me. But this update seems to be very broken. [alert admin]

ImageBuddy 2.9.6 (Mac OS X)
I think I'm going to have to buy this, it's a really nice package. With that said, there's just a few very small nits I'd like to see addressed: 1. Support for scroll wheels. 2. In the layout modes, an icon would better convey some of the option buttons instead of text. (ie: "C..." for center text should be replaced with a left justified looking icon) 3. More included "Event Packages" Like I said, very minor nits. If I could give 1/2 star off, I would. [alert admin]

HP OfficeJet D series 6.3.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I tried 4 times to download this update with Safari and it failed each time. Tried with IE (yuck), but it worked. Duplexing works too. Still very quirky though and multiple users cannot print (job hangs everytime). Overall, not a good experience. This will be my last HP printer I ever buy. My Epson Stylus 1280 works like a champ in every situation. Bye bye HP. I waited too long for this update, which is still half baked. Oh, I too had signed up for email notification and didn't receive one, fwiw. Man I wish Apple still made their own branded printers. My LW8500 still works like it's new. [alert admin]

iPhotoToGallery 0.51b (Mac OS X)
I second the motion for an iView version!
I wrote Zach awhile back requesting this. He said it would probably be possible, but wasn't sure how many people use both iView and Gallery, and doesn't own a copy of iView Pro. Perhaps if there's sufficient demand, we might be able to prod him a bit ;-) [alert admin]

Apple Safari 1.3.2 (Mac OS X)
Any brave souls out there using PithHelmet? I can't live without ad blocking. Don't want to update to this until I'm sure it doesn't break. Thanks. [alert admin]

like Apple did with the transition from OS 9 to X, starting with a clean slate. Put together a decent and intuitive interface, fix long standing bugs, etc, etc. There are better, cheaper alternatives to this. Vote with your wallets people! Perhaps that's the only thing that will get Dantz to wake up...loss of market share. Either that, or they'll just focus on the Windows community :-P This feels like a Windows port as it is. I used to use this heavily, but grew sick of it's problems and cr*p interface. It might still be good for tape backups, but for hard drives and CD's it's been surpassed by others. [alert admin]

Auto FX Photo/Graphic Edges 6.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I've never tried this before, so I downloaded and installed it into PS CS and when I went to try it out, it said the demo had 0 days left! Oh well, guess I won't be buying this one if I can't even try it out. [alert admin]

I'd be willing to contribute toward that end, but not going it alone. If other's would like to create a "fund" to help Zach get a copy, email me at gstahara@earthlink.net

Thanks, I'm going to hold off then. Last time it took the developer quite awhile to update and I was miserable until it had been fixed. :-P

Finally! Woooohooo. Ad free in Panther. Where's my credit card? I'm no longer taking this wonderful piece of code for granted. Thank you! It's been a painful couple of weeks without it.
