Exactly what I was looking for! 
I wanted a program that could put my calendar on my desktop in a readable fashion. This program does the job quite well. Technically it's crippleware not freeware or commercial, but the part that continues to work after the trial period is all I had wanted when I searched for it. However, I was happy to register it and really appreciate the extra features that registration brings (Exposé, in particular). I never use to dos or appointments, so I made those white boxes a very highly transparent black and generally ignore them. Highly recommended! [alert admin]
