iWatermark 3.0.8 (Mac OS X)

It Figures Pt II...

Well, I got no feedback or support from Script Software. They obviously don't read the feedback here. They just don't care to update a troublesome software version of 3.08 of iW. therefore, never again will I support shareware. And one wonders why there are certain questionable sites to get what you want... A customer should never be avoided... [alert admin]

ComicBookLover 1.0build17(RC3) (Mac OS X)

What is really funny about ComicBookLOver

That they claim that their product opens up .CBR files, but it doesn't. That they provide directions to MANUALLY force .CBR files to open CBL when you double-click on them and are able to then read them - then those instructions are wrong. My favorite thing about ameteur programmers is that they want to overcharge for a product that simply does NOT do the job. All my .CBR files are not recognized by CBL (it indicates so) and I'm SO glad I didn't actually buy this. Oh, yes, my specs in case there is any question: - iMac G5 (w iSight) - 10.4.7 - 1.5GB memory [alert admin]

Flip4Mac WMV 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Great Product EVER!

Not only does Flip4Mac crash Safari, but it also crashes Firefox even MORE! I've never used a beautiful WMV player like this ever. Heck, yes Windows Media Player at times throws fits, stops in the middle of a playback, but it never crashes my browsers like Flip4Mac. Now, I get the best of both worlds. Keep going with the upgrades, I want MORE browsers quitting on me, Thanks :) [alert admin]

Adobe Illustrator CS2 12.0.1 (Mac OS X)

DON'T INSTALL THIS...

Do NOT use this Illustrator update. Over the course of a week it has corrupted 8 very important files that have to be recreated again, some of which took weeks! Adobe will never learn to work WITH their customers... [alert admin]

Palm Desktop 4.2.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

4.21 hates the Tiger

I regret to say that Palm Desktop 4.21 just is NOT compatible with Mac OS 10.4 Tiger. I had to resort to installing Mac OS 10.3 Panther on another drive and, lo and behold, Palm Desktop installed fine and perfect. Until Palm admits that they need to step up and update Palm Desktop for 10.4 compatibility, I'll have to resort to syncing my Tungsten E with the alternate OS on my other drive. I'm sure they'll get more complaints on this in the near future, unless we all use the Missing Sync shareware, which is no better - but that's another story... [alert admin]

iPod.iTunes 2.7.3 (Mac OS X)

Wonderful Product This Garbage...

Start it up and guess what - it's not compatible with version 1.5 of my iPod! Let's see will they bother to update this in the next year or 2 or 3...? Shame on them. The latest iPod updates have been out for a while, why they haven't updated it? Maybe they're working on they other "great" software products... [alert admin]

Delicious Library 1.0.5 (Mac OS X)

The worst, STILL...

I love this developer. at version 1.05 it STILL keeps giving me movies I DON'T OWN when I import from DVDpedia. Then when I do add a new film manually, it just grinds, griNDS & GRINDS. Nothing comes up... this app just doesn't work and DVDPEDIA LIVES! Developer... GET WITH IT OR GIVE IT UP. Stop charging for garbage software! [alert admin]

Delicious Library 1.0 (Mac OS X)

You have to be kidding, right...?

WWAAAYYY over priced. Not only does it import DUPLICATES (which I disabled), but, you can't even change the order of the visual layout, the sorting (well, there IS NO sorting), when importing from another database I get DVDs, etc in the list I DON'T EVEN HAVE, and worst of all they want $40!!?? Obscene and insulting...! [alert admin]

You Control 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)

HORRIBLE

funny title for an app that you really have NO control over. Yes, drag a module into the menu to have that module - if only all the modules were NOT greyed out and non-draggable. You Control only lived on my system for 10 mins before I trashed it for being THE WORST piece of programming in all my years of using software. Max Menus makes sense, FruitMenu makes sense - You Control makes NO sense in their instruction, interface, etc. Oh, the interface is the best part in that it looks so obvious that nothing was thought out for the user's "ease of use." IMHO, FruitMenu is the best - THAT gives you total control. AND to boot, they want $70! They MUST be thinking there are a lot of idiots out there who will buy this, but then maybe there were millions of idiots who bought Windoze :) [alert admin]

FoldersSynchronizer 3.4.7 (Mac OS X)

would never pay for this..

for FS to be required to be open in order to sync automatically makes no sense. Synchronize Pro/Plus syncs automatically without requiring it to be open (sort of like "set it and forget it") -- and the Plus version is $10 less! Also, setting the syn times in FS is so illogical and confusing. Sync Pro/Plus is so straightforward, simply set the time you want like setting a watch. [alert admin]

Animation master in OS X 10.3.9

the only good thing about A:M is that it already does hair for such a low price. I've worked with A:M. For EVERY tool that you choose, you can only use it once, THEN you have to select that tool AGAIN if you want to alter some other part of your creation. This I can't believe they still haven't fixed. Bad: It has NO easy modeling as in Maya or the others.…
