ProtectMac AntiVirus 1.0.6 (Mac OS X)
It makes perfect sense to discourage developers from writing Mac Apps, right? Yeesh. [alert admin]

iAntiVirus Free Edition 1.35 (Mac OS X)
1st impression? Not so good. iAV gave an "all clear" on 2 files ClamAV detected (Phishing in a mailbox and Java.ClassLoader.24564 in a cache folder), so I'm not feeling warm fuzzies towards it. YMMV [alert admin]

Man Handler 2.01u (Mac OS X)
The problem with very old reviews
ManOpen seems to be favoured, but the simple fact is that it hasn't been updated (here, at least) since 2005. ManOpen is PPC only! [alert admin]

BatChmod 1.51 (Mac OS X)
It's good seeing this product being updated, even if it's for no other reason than remind us how far along OS X has come. Legions of people downloaded this helpful app "back in the day", as at times, it was the ONLY way we could empty the Trash! Did anyone else, upon using OS X 10.0 - 10.1 for the first time, have the feeling that Apple had lost their collective minds? Anywho... Good to see BatChmod still lives, but for me at least, it's GREAT that I no longer require it. :-) [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5584.0 (Mac OS X)
Running on a 1st gen Macbook Pro with 1.25gb ram. Time from clicking icon in Dock to program launch, 9 second. Time to boot a fresh session of XP to the XP desktop, 53 seconds. Time to suspend my XP session, 9 seconds. Time to restore my suspended session, 11 seconds. Every program I'm running runs reasonably well, Activity Monitor shows Parallels taking approx 30-75% CPU utilization and 385MB RAM. Quite simply couldn't be happier with Parallels, only wish is that I didn't need it! [alert admin]

LogMeIn 4.00.684 (Mac OS X)
Is this something like the "Back to my Mac" feature that's included with Leopard? I'm using "Back to my Mac" right now, and I love it! [alert admin]

Since you're using iLife '09, you're running OS X 10.5. Since Apple clearly states that 512 MB RAM is the BARE MINIMUM system memory required to run 10.5, your review is not only completely nutz, but is going to get slammed by a lot of people.

Tweaks s*cks as an alternative because I DO NOT WANT another menu item and if Apple decides to update Safari, guess what? It's perfectly possible that Tweaks will be broken. Of course, we all know that Apple *never* updates Safari, right???

It takes real nutcases to dis an app that works as advertised, provides a benefit to end users, and is handed out for free. I downloaded this little app, it did exactly what it said the author said it would do, and I'm happy to have stumbled across it.

Safari 4 is not the tab, title and load bars- Safari 4 is updated WebKit, Java engines and much, much more. Comments like "Safari is a POS" because of interface changes (especially when, by your own admission you're happy with it when it looks different) only serves to negate any impact you'd hoped to achieve with your comment.
