Core FTP LE 1.3b (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
So far its been quick, robust, and error free. Most importantly, no nagging, no adware or spyware that I could find. No prompts to even register it, and the splash screen is only a couple seconds. Seems to be full drag-and-drop too. Fabulous so far! (what's the catch....). Oh and its freeware too [alert admin]

Worms Blast 1.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
can scan my compressed files again! I have to say, I'm very glad it can scan for PC viruses... now, what I'm not sure about - will it scan my Virtual PC drives or mounted PC volumes from the network? we'll have to see... [alert admin]

Worms Blast 1.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
slick, although frustrated by crashing with every scan. Seems there is a known bug when scanning large compression files (>2 G). Turning off scanning of compressed files resolved the crashes, but of course couldn't scan them. I am sure future versions will fix it. I just hated being the only one with crashes! [alert admin]

PrintChef 2.55.02 (Mac OS 9)
had an issue that involved my printer (easily resolved) but gave me a chance to test out tech support. Never had faster and more thorough support! Now I can go print all those damn PDFs people use as an excuse for a proper manual painlessly. Very powerful program, I hope to someday use all its capabilities. Heavily customizable, somewhat of a learning curve for the fancy stuff, but pretty easy to get up and running. And it comes with a very straightforward, well laid out manual - in print, not pdf.... Recommend it for anyone with a pdf they want to print, or anyone who wants to make little booklets or the like. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS 9.1 9.1 (Mac OS 9)
that's supposed to make it more stable, the startup hangs are getting old fast. After all extensions show on screen, it freezes about half the time... [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS 9.1 9.1 (Mac OS 9)
have a lot of bug fixes, but now Ihang on half my startups (god knows why) and the rearrangement of the utilities/applications folder has messed up quite a few things. Aliases can be fixed, but I have at least one program that won't function unless I put it in the main directory now instead of Applications or Utilites folder. Not sure I have the patience to find out what hangs it, hopefully someone has some insight.... [alert admin]
