Melk b0.3 (Mac OS X)
This app is great. I can finally convert all these goddang 24MB/s AVIs to 2MB/s M4Vs without hassle or quality loss. GREAT APP! The only thing left for it to do is automatically replace the source file with the converted file in the iphoto library. [alert admin]

Coda 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Before skEdit and Coda, there were no programs to help the Mac-based ColdFusion developers (all two of us haha). Coda looks to be a more polished product. It's not perfect - there are a few bugs and missing functionality, but it is WELL on it's way to being the best. Coda's "symbols" is much more extensive than skEdit's 'code nav', and symbols are always visible - whereas code nav is in a pulldown menu. Coda's syntax highlighting for html and cfml is also more robust (skEdit only gives 3 colors each). And Coda does have html validation built in as well. [alert admin]

Lynxlet 0.8.0 (Mac OS X)
Lynx is a great SEO tool. It's even endorsed by Google for this reason. It shows you what the spiders/indexers see. An alternative to this is "Lynx Text Web Browser". http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/lynxtextwebbrowser.html LTWB seems to do the same thing, but is only 800 KB. So it's missing something. [alert admin]

Fenetres Volantes 1.1 (Mac OS X)
This is excellent. And I assume it's using quartz. A low resource-using real-time 3D screen saver. Nice work! [alert admin]

PHP Function Reference 0.9.6.2b (Mac OS X)
This is very cool. In case you're not on a mac, check out this PDF version of the PHP Function Reference. [alert admin]

iDefrag 1.6.1 (Mac OS X)
This isn't much of a demo. It's more like a teaser. We can view our discs but not do anything to them, unless they are under 100MB. Um... show of hands, who has a hard drive under 100MB? Maybe the demo should let us actually defragment, up to to 100 MB... or up to 10 files, or something like that. Hell I can show anyone a broken rocket engine and say I can fix it. Doesn't mean I can, or can well. [alert admin]

iBiz 3.0 (Mac OS X)
Bought it. So happy I did. Ogg keeps improving it. It's like one night I'll think of an improvement. And the next day a new version is up with the improvement. I think I'll turn off ARD... [alert admin]

SQLGrinder 2.0.4 (Mac OS X)
Cannot rename tables or columns in the gui. Why have a gui if you have to run a script in the gui anyway?? Aside from that it looks really really good. But without that functionality I'm still RDC'ing my XP machine for MS SQL Server and using Navicat for MySQL. SQLGrinder would be THE final solution if it were complete. [alert admin]

iBiz 3.0b10 (Mac OS X)
I must have downloaded at least a dozen billing apps. iBiz is the best so far, and not the most expensive either. Not everything is perfect, but still better than the others. I can't wait for the betas to be over with so I can use this primarily. [alert admin]

"ugly blank" is called HUD and is used in Apple's own iPhoto and Aperture, and more and more mac programs. You should give this app a good try like you said, before commenting so harshly.

Greg, even when I select every message and 'save as', Mail will only save the first message. How are you saving every message in your junk folder at once? (OSX 10.3.7 / Mail 1.3.9)

Does not have native 3GPP support!!
it says "(available via the 3GPP Component)", how is that misrepresentation? BTW I don't even use QT for anything more than just a browser plugin. VLC is my app of choice - no components, no doctoring... it just works.
