Secrets 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
If you're looking for the "Secrets" pref pane as I was, this isn't it. You can find it here; http://code.google.com/p/blacktree-secrets/downloads/list [alert admin]

Smart Scroll 3.2b3 SL (Mac OS X)
I bought and tried Smart Scroll and it doesn't work with the Targus Mouse. I like the mouse, but no driver works correctly yet. The Apple Mighty Mouse has 360 degree scrolling as doesn't the track pad, but nothing works with the Targus yet. It can scroll up and down OR left and right, but not both. There is no diagonal scroll. I hate the scroll ball on the Mighty Mouse and the way the right and left clicks work. The Targus Mouse is a much better design if someone could just get the drivers working. [alert admin]

PTHPasteboard 4.4.1 (Mac OS X)
not freeware. after install it says you must pay in order to use it. if you have to pay anyway, get copypaste pro. much better product and better support. you will be happy with it. they are up front and honest rather than trying to scam you into paying for "freeware" [alert admin]

Perian 1.1.4 (Mac OS X)
still doesn't work with Snow Leopard. The subtitles (srt files) feature is broken. other than that, great application. can't see using quicktime without it. if it wasn't for this one problem I would never use VLC [alert admin]

PDFpenPro 4.1.2 (Mac OS X)
Don't read the feedback of noobs that don't even know what this software does. It is NOT a text editor or a free Preview application. These people have no clue. What it does is allow you to edit PDF files even if they were not setup as fillable forms. There's nothing more frustrating than downloading a form from the internet to only find out that you can't fill it in because the producer of the form has no idea how to create forms. This product will allow you to edit and fill in any form. It does it very easily, better than Adobe Acrobat Writer. Now you don't need to worry if the PDF was setup correctly or not, you can still type on it and fill it out easily. It does a lot more than this, but this is the main reason I got it. [alert admin]

FontExplorer X Pro 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Very sad to see a good program die off
I like Font Explorer X, but what home user is going to want to buy a Pro server version? They need a home version without the server functions for us. Until this happens, they are dead to me. I am no going to spend $40.00 for a Pro version that I don't need, but I did like the last free version simply because it helped where OS X was unable to. [alert admin]

FileSalvage 6.1.5 (Mac OS X)
DataRescue didn't find any of the deleted files at all. Boomerang found them, but the software license is a complete rape. They charge you by the number of megs recovered until you run out and then you have to buy another license. This would be extremely expensive! for example, they charge $40 for 100MB. The recovery I did was 8GB. This would have been hundreds or thousands of dollars with Boomerang! FileSalvage recovered every single file and there are no hidden costs. It is a flat $79.00 and just works. [alert admin]

Another sad comment form someone that doesn't know what this product does. It IS NOT a text editor, it IS a PDF editor. See my reply to the last comment. This product works well. Don't rely on the feedback of people that don't even know what it does.

There are a lot of noobs leaving false feedback for a product that they do not understand at all. I would like to see Preview be able to edit PDF files and forms, but it cannot. It is simply a viewer. This is a good product and users need to see it, but do not be fooled by irrelevant feedback from people that have no clue what it does. Perhaps Apple will include this type of functionality in…

You can't beat Parallels and you don't have to reboot! Try it, they have a 30 day trial and to save disk space it can use your BootCamp volume too. I am using it on my MacBook Pro 2.6GHZ and my dad has it on his Macbook, so there's a good chance it will work on your too. I hope this helps.

Sorry, KoalaCalc sucks. Maybe it's OK for free, but it's no PCalc! I like seeing others opinions, it helps me to see an app that I may have otherwise missed, but this one is way off base. It's not just lacking the widget as stated, it can't even do hex or binary. It is very simplistic! You are not comparing Apples to Apples. Again, it may be an OK free app, it's just outclassed by PCalc.

You need to spend $5.00 to upgrade and download the universal version 2.0. I think I got it from MacSoft. It is well worth the upgrade and the download is extremely fast! It is the whole new CD.

It's funny to see a computer illiterate user make a comment like this. This idiot says "they released" in his statement, yet this is not a release! This is a beta! If you don't know what the heck beta means, then you shouldn't be downloading it! Why not look up the word so you don't look like such a fool to everyone by posting something this stupid?

This is either a problem with the user, or his/her Mac. Maybe this reviewer is the person trying to sell the $20 a copy version that isn't nearly as good. I have used OS X Plant for a while, and it never gave me a single problem. I used it on my old PowerBook G4 1GHZ for a while before going to the new MacBook 2GHZ, so I know it works very well on both systems! Don't trust…

THIS IS ONE STUPID COMMENT! Unsanity's Mighty Mouse was out LONG BEFORE Apple's hardware mouse. Unsanity is the one that could take Apple to court. Check your history!
