Enigmo 1 2.0.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Updater is NOT 2.0.4

I downloaded this file several times from different places and while the disk image says it's 2.0.4, the updater inside is for 2.0.2. It won't update your game if you already have the 2.0.3 update installed. [alert admin]

Lynkeos 1.3-UB (Mac OS X)

This version works on Intel Macs

Thanks again Jean_Etienne for fixing the previous Intel version. This one works as well as the original PPC 1.3 [alert admin]

Lynkeos 1.3-intel (Mac OS X)

Crashes on startup

I installed this version on my Intel iMac and cannot get it to run. The PPC version runs fines under Rosetta, but this one crashes on startup with the error: "Link (dyld) error: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libtiff.3.dylib Referenced from: /Applications/Lynkeos.app/Contents/MacOS/Lynkeos Reason: image not found" Anyone else having this problem? SlimBatteryMonitor 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Console Entries

Has anyone noticed that SBM writes several entries to the console log about every minute under OS X 10.4.3? My logs were growing by leaps and bounds compared to normal use. Never had this under earlier OS versions, so I suspect Apple changed something. Had to disable this and use Apple's version. Yuck! [alert admin]

Safari Enhancer 2.6.4 (Mac OS X)

2.6.4 cache fixes broken

Just installed 2.6.4 and when I try to use it to deactivate the Cache and Site Icon cache, I get Applescript errors that say it can't lock the folders. BUT, it's pointing to a user directory that does not exist as I have my Users on a separate volume and it assumes it's on the root volume. I reverted back to 2.6.3 and it works fine. [alert admin]

Fast DVD Copy 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Perserverance Pays OFf

I got this when first released and even though the Trial was not 100% successful, this had definnite promise. Paid the fee and got my serial number almost immediately. My initial trial of the 1.01 version allowed a valid copy to be created (Sound of Music) that could be played on my computer, but not my VCR/DVD Recorder Combo from Sansui. Finally, V1.0.3 does. Thanks for responding to my requests and hope you continue to work on the speed enhancements. While I would love to use it on my wife's new 4X burner instead of my original 1X SuperDrive, I'll live with it since I only have a small number of movies I would want to copy so I can save the originals. ShapeShifter 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Turn back the clock - uh uh

Media Mogul - thanks for the advice, but I sync with Palm and iCal, etc. Turning back the clock could cause all kinds of collateral damage that doesn't make it worth it. I used to use Kaleidoscope in OS9 quite successfully, chnaging the look routinely without problem. I've stayed away from theme changers until now, but decided to try Shapeshifter because I've had good luck with Unsanity's products. Oh, well. Thanks again. [alert admin]

ShapeShifter 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Demo Expired already!!

I had apparently installed 1.0 when it first came out, but didn't use it as no themes suited my tastes. Today, I installed 1.01 and as soon as I restarted, the Demo had expired (it's 15 days since V1.0). So, I still can't use it. Tried uninstall, complete search of disk to remove all related files, still nogo. Won't pay for someting I can't even try. Any ideas? [alert admin]

Source of Crashes on startup

Looks like I don't have the /usr/local directory. The Source Dependencies file on the developer's site contains the proper file, but only for PPC. (I tried that's how I know). So this is an incomplete application for Intel if you don't already have the dependencies for Intel installed somehow.

2.6.4 cache fixes broken

What I should also mention is that 2.6.3 does deactivate the cache for me, but 2.6.4 won't when it displays the error message. So something changed to make it not work for non-root volumes. Again, reverting back to 2.6.3 works. (And my permissions were just fine and didn't need fixing.)

2.6.4 cache fixes broken

Gordon - the problem now is that when it doesn't work, SE hangs after displaying the error messages (spinning wheel indicating it's still trying to deactivate caches).

Demo Expired already!!

Thanks Bananaman_78 - I have already sent a comment to Unsanity requesting assistance, but after almost a week - no response. And I'm a paying customer on several products :(
