mlMac 0.7.2a (Mac OS X)
This program is excellent - for me to poop on! No, really, I used to love this app. It does a great job of finding files. Now if only it could actually DOWNLOAD them. Is there some setting somewhere that the user can tweak to try and get better results? I get excellent download ratios with Aquisition, it just doesn't find nearly as many files as mlMac. Poisoned 0.493 (Mac OS X)
IMHO, Poisoned has the best interface of any of the Mac peer-to-peer apps. Unfortunately, I can't seem to download a dang thing with it. MLMac and Acquisition still yield the best results. But I'll keep checking back on Poisoned in the hopes it starts working better. [alert admin]

Apimac Slide Show X 6.0 (Mac OS X)
Handy little slide show app. Easy to use, straight forward. I really liked being able to save the slide shows. I do wish, however, that the user had the ability to skip to the next slide or go back to a previous slide while in automatic mode. That's a must that will prevent me from purchasing it until it has that ability. I also wish it integrated with my iTunes library when selecting music for the soundtrack. Promising app. I'll stay tuned for the next release. [alert admin]

I had high hopes for this app, but I was pretty much disappointed, being plagued by frequent crashes. It was able to find a great many files, but I only received a huge list of "stalled" downloads. The few file transfers I got limped along at an average of 2K/sec. 4 out of 5 completed transfers wouldn't open. Interface is almost too basic. I assume I'm sharing files with the rest of the folks on the network, but *what files am I sharing???* I didn't specify a folder to share. Basics like being able to sort columns by name, download rate or amount transferred is a no-brainer, but non-existent. Don't get me wrong, this has potential. Just not ready for prime time yet. game, and find it very addicting. Surprisingly, the music never gets old to me, despite the hours and hours worth of repititions I've endured. I don't like the way it takes over my computer, cutting me off from e-mail, the clock, or anything else. I'd like to see a feature where all available matches are displayed when time runs out. Apple iCal 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
care of my biggest complaint with iCal, namely how slow it was to launch. Now it pops open nearly instantly. Great improvement. :) [alert admin]
