Adium X 0.87 (Mac OS X)
Adium continues to improvie with time, but its feature set has become stagnant. I give a rating of five stars because it is the best of the available chat programs on the Mac platform, however innovation is a necessity. [alert admin]

TV Tracker 1.5.2 (Mac OS X)
It was functional when it worked, but ugly to look at. ![]()

I enjoyed the convenience of having this widget functioning. It could use some deisgn improvements. Compared to some of the foreign television listing widgets, it lags greatly. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.4.2 (Mac OS X)
I have no bugs to report with this update. I am glad to see Safari functioning properly now. In 10.4.1 it would load pages as text for a second or two and then render the pages properly. Fortunately, this does not seem to be the case after the update. [alert admin]

Skype works marvelously. It works perfectly on my aging 500MHz G4. I have used it to make a few hours of calls home to the US from here in Europe. The pricing on calls to landline phones definitely beats the other available options. [alert admin]

Package Tracker 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)
This little widget is fantastic. However, it would be even better if there were a USPS Express Mail tracker. [alert admin]

Adium X 0.81 (Mac OS X)
Thig are only getting better. There are still a few problems to be worked out, but overall, this is the best instant messaging client available. [alert admin]

StuffIt Expander 9.0.2 (Mac OS X)
It would be nice to be able to download only the StuffIt Expander alone and not the entire suite of applications. Actually, even better than that would be if everyone would just make their downloadable files into .zip or .dmg files. [alert admin]

The next major upgrade to OS X is a good ways off now. As far as the Intel shift, that should be irrelevant to you decision to move to Tiger. Still, check out Amnesty Widget Browser. It allows people like yourself to use widgets under 10.3.
