Mozilla Firefox 3.0.8 (Mac OS X)
I used to you FireFox 2.x as my main browser. Ever since I first tried 3.0.x, it always freezes on launch, so I have to force quit. I can never load a page. So, I had to switch to Safari for my main browser and I use Camino when I need a second one. I'm glad it still works for some of you. This is on my PowerMac G5/2x2.0 with 5.5gigs of ram running Leopard. I'll try it on my MacBook C2D/2.0 and report that seperately. [alert admin]

TVShows 0.3.4 (Mac OS X)
This program was great, but it hasn't worked for me since I upgraded to Leopard. The alternative is ted (torrent episode downloader). The link is below. It downloads the torrents for me, but I have to manually double-click them to launch my bit torrent client and start downloading the show. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29490&mode=feedback&vid=500681 [alert admin]

MacDialer 1.4 (Mac OS X)
It doesn't launche for me either... ![]()

I tried version 1.4 on my Quicksilver PowerMac running o/s X 10.3. I can't get it to launch, or it quits as it's launching. I did see the option to dial phone number now in Address Book, but, of course nothing happens since MacDialer crashes on launch. I'm very disappointed because I've been very eager to get this functionality ever since Mac o/s 8.6 broke my ADB based dialer several years ago. It was great having speed dial for every number in my address book, especially since the phone numbers here are now all ten digits long. It would be well worth the registration fee if it worked. I hope the author manages to squash this bug. [alert admin]

StickyBrain X 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I've been using Sticky Brain since version 1. I upgraded to 2 and 2.02 when they came out. I've lost a bunch of notes too. I was able to recover a few of the notes from back-up, but most are gone forever. :( In a way, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. The problem is StickBrain, not me. [alert admin]

Safari Can't Download the File
After Safari failed to download the file after dozens of attempts over the past week, I finally tried Camino and it worked. Oh well... I'll give the product a rating after I try the new version. The old ones were great but had some problems handling text it grabbed from Camino and Safari. [alert admin]

StickyBrain X 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
How have you people gotten the 2.02 version? Did you download the updater or the full install? When? I've been trying since day one. I'm using Safari v1 and I've been going to Chronos' update links. [alert admin]

he people complaining about a lack of upgrade pricing. $40 for both grammer and spelling is low enough even for an upgrade if it really works now. I wont even try it though until I hear a few more people say that it doesn't slow down their systems anymore. [alert admin]

MacSOUP 2.5b3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
try the X version. I loved the old version. It's by far the best newsreader for following disscussions, but it's not ideal for downloading binary attachments. The multiple news server feature is not especially smooth either. I would love to see more AppleScript support so that I can automate archiving articles. Right now, scripts can't access the database nor dispose of articles. [alert admin]

TNEF's Enough 1.0b2.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
this solution exists for that pesky MS bug, but it seems to hog my cpu. My Quicksilver G4/733 suddenly shows 100% cpu usage when TNEF's Enough is running. Process viewer shows a "LaunchCFMapp" process using around 80% of my cpu. When I quit TNEF's I see the process disappear from Process Viewer. I hope this can be fixed. I guess it's not too big a deal because I only need to use TNEF's Enough for a minute and then I can quit it. [alert admin]

So far, you are the only person with a positive view of Organizer v.8. So, how long have you been using it and do you still feel the same? Thanks for your feedback.

Well, Scott. That trick worked for me back in early April, but it doesn't work anymore. Has YouTube closed the door on all downloads?

TVShows hasn't been updated in a long time. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work with Mac o/s 10.5, only 10.4.
