gimp-print 4.3.18 (Mac OS X)
I don't see how my printer (Epson Stylus Color 740) can be "fully supported" when the gimp drivers don't allow me to change print quality (low quality/high speed or high quality/low speed). This being the only setting I change from day to day, I would have to say gimp does not "fully support" my printer. Then again, Epson makes OS X drivers for the 740. I can imagine this software would be great for unsupported printers. [alert admin]

tonyboy has a point. While it was argued that wintel machines produce more heat, that misses the point. for example, imacs don't produce much heat at all, but they have no fans. if you place a piece of paper over the convection cooling area, it'll overheat (even with low cpu/gpu usage). if apple specifically says not to use this program with a certain model of iBook, i'd listen. they know their machines better than anybody. I love the app, but I wish it would update without flashing "UPDATING" on the menu bar. This can get distracting. [alert admin]

Fire 0.32.d (Mac OS X)
One question to the author: in older versions, my chat logs would record the date/time, speaker, and message. Now they only record the speaker, and message. To get this info in my logs with curent versions of Fire, I have to turn on date/time for the WHOLE app, which I don't like seeing at the time I'm talking. Any way to go back to this 50/50 split? brian@tobintv.com [alert admin]

HoneyPotX 1.0f (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
in the readme HoneyPotX can't listen to any ports below 1024. this is really misleading. why list 21, 25, 80, 110, 137, 138, and 139 in the preferences panel? the author says this is a limitation in osx, but snort handles these ports just fine, and snort can be installed in osx. [alert admin]

HoneyPotX 1.0f (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
to get it working. I told it to monitor all sensible ports, but then when i tell friends to connect to my web server, it doesn't pick anything up. what's the deal? [alert admin]

DivX Gershwin 5.0b2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
encoder for osx"? have you heard of ffmpeg and mencoder? in my opinion, for any mac user to encode/decode, all you need is osex, ffmpegx, and vlc. not to mention they're all open source and free. [alert admin]
