GarageSale 3.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Slowed me to a crawl

My computer was running REALLY slow for quite a while, then I opened Activity Monitor and found that the "GarageSale Helper" for this application was sucking down over 70% of my CPU power and was automatically added to the login items list so that it was always open without my knowledge. Once I removed it my speed increased greatly. [alert admin]

Mozilla Firefox 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Good

Good browser, I have one suggestion. It would be nice if Firefox supported the proxy settings via the system prefs, as of now, firefox completely ignores those settings and has its own within the program. This is one of the things that makes safari more integrated. Firefox is already hugely popular, not only should it support all the operating systems that it does, but it should be made more integrated into those systems, namely mac os x. [alert admin]

jBidWatcher 0.9.5 (Mac OS X)

SUCKS!

I had used this for a few bid snipes and it worked, but then it failed to snipe a car I really freaking wanted. I had the prefs set fine, it should have sniped in time but it didn't. I'm off sniping programs for good. [alert admin]

RSS Menu 1.0b (Mac OS X)

Simple, great!

It's simple, easy, and works. I like it. One thing I notice is there isn't currently support for quotes (" "). [alert admin]

SolarSeek 0.70 (Mac OS X)

Forget nicotine!

Nicotine is a waste of time, few get it to work while so many others cannot and it's painstakingly long to setup either way. Solarseek works immediately, it is the ONLY working soulseek client for mac os x! [alert admin]

FireStarter FX 1.0b7 (Mac OS X)

Would be good but isn't

This app could be good if it actually did what it was supposed to do. I've yet to have it burn a single bin/cue image. Everytime, it doesn't get past writing the lead-in. This app can NOT burn bin/cue images but if this is fixed to actually do that, it would be a good app. [alert admin]

Strangelove 1.0b2 (Mac OS X)

Yes!

I like it, I like it a lot. :) I've never used an app before that was as simple and brilliant as Strangelove. Drag in file, drag out file. Pure genius, and it does what it's supposed to do. This app is so cool and simple I actually have fun converting files. :D [alert admin]
