Pandora Widget 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I should have listened to the other reviewers. This widget is clunky, and doesn't work consistently. The Pandora concept is a great one, but this implementation is terrible!! If I use the "Pause" function, the whole frame goes blank and won't come back. The buttons have poor response and need to be clicked multiple times to react. The frame takes up 20% of my screen (15 inch Macbook Pro), mostly with advertising and other unnecessary junk (it's basically the same screen as the browser window). I understand the need for advertising, there has to be some way to pay for the music, but this implementation is not the way to do it. [alert admin]

VueScan 8.1.32 (Mac OS X)
This is a GREAT piece of software! Ed Hamrick does a fantastic job of keeping it working. The last revision caused a problem with my scanner, and he had a later revision out in TWO DAYS. Works great. I've been using this software since, well, forever. (At least since 2002). It's always worked great and the upgrades just keep on comin'! What a wonderful experience! [alert admin]

Meteorologist 1.4.2 (Mac OS X)
The developers have fixed this bug and posted version 1.4.3 on the Sourceforge website. <flame on> Geez, folks: this application is FREE! The developers bust their humps to fix problems and get nothing for it. I sure wish everyone would quit *censored*in' about minor glitches in a FREE application! Nearly every problem has been because of arbitrary changes on the Weather.com website -- not due to deficiencies in the application. I've tried brand X (paid) and Y (free) and Meteorologist is still the most full-featured weather application for the Mac. Joe Crow is already working on version 2.0 which will use multiple sources for weather. Give the poor guy some peace! <flame off> [alert admin]

VueScan 7.5.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
idiot. What's Mustek doing to get your scanner working? When most scanner manufacturers have ignored the Mac community, this developer has come up with as near a universal solution as you can find. He busted his hump to help me get my scanner working, BEFORE I spent a cent on his software. He continues to release small fixes and additions. Ed ROCKS! [alert admin]

VueScan 7.5.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
the greatest, not the least reason being Ed Hamrick and his excellent customer oriented attitude. He helped me solve a problem integrating my old Umax S-12 with my iMac G4. He is the greatest! I just spent $40 to save $500 because I don't have to replace my good old reliable SCSI flatbed scanner. (I'm using a Microtech FireSCSI adapter with Vuescan and it works just fine!) [alert admin]
