TomTom HOME 2.2.1.26 (Mac OS X)

Bach to work again

OK, the GUI looks like it was designed 10 years ago, but what the heck. It works and does what it should do. It is easy to navigate. 4 stars. And one more star because TomTom apparently hasn't given up on Mac-Users. The new Maps can be installed now. The 2. Version took so long that it looked like we were forgotten or worse. For Mac users nothing beats TomTom (again). [alert admin]

Missing Sync for Palm OS 6.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Finally whatitshould have been.

After having posted my traumatic experiences with the 6.0 version (after having upgraded from 5), I can now say: 6.01 is great. Does what it should do, at last (I have to add). 6.0 apparently was a beta version that shouldn't have been made public. I can forget about that now! There only is small problem with resetting time zones left. I am sure it will be fixed :-) [alert admin]

Missing Sync for Palm OS 6.0 (Mac OS X)

Don't 'up'grade

Just stick to the 5.1 version, that one works fine. You don't need 6 anyway unless you have a Treo. MarkSpace should have told so. With my T5 I only have had trouble. All my memos have disappeared from the Palm, Syncing usually doesn't work as Conduits become unregistered (registration was deleted??). I have been a happy Missing Sync user for many years, there used to be small problems with every update, this one is a disaster and has already wasted many of my precious hours. [alert admin]

TomTom HOME 1.3.308 (Mac OS X)

The one and only

What Garmin has been promising for over a year now, TomTom has delivered already. Very userfriendly and complete. Only problem TomTom will have to tackle is that the program crashes every now and then. [alert admin]

SOHO Calendars 5.0.5 (Mac OS X)

Robbery

What you get for that much money is beyond description. I was mainly interested in the calendar function. For many months I have been looking at windows promising that this (basic) function is being worked on to be passed on to iCal then!!!! Nothing new has been added for a long time. Request mails are not answered. I feel robbed. [alert admin]

Missing Sync for Palm OS 5.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Just does what it should

I allmost forgot how well the programm works, it does just what it should. Choosing different profiles is extremely simple and useful. I had less good experiences whith previous versions, this one gets a thumbs up without restrictions. [alert admin]

Update problem solved.

Not for me. I reinstallled an older version and ran the update, connection still hangs. Iused AppZapper to remove the current version and installed again, still hangs. The version before 2.32 2.2? works fine.
