Oh Ambrosia...

AmbrosiaSW used to be one of my favorite companies. They came out with consistently incredible games, each easily worth the money. Barracks, Escape Velocity, Bubble Trouble, even Pop-Pop was pretty good. Uplink was worth it, but it only published by Ambrosia. A computer racing game? Come on Ambrosia. You used to take old simple concepts and make them incredibly fun. This is an old simple concept, yet it adds nothing new and appears to be something that could have been released years ago. I want the Ambrosia Software that would eat a bug at macworld for every bug that was in the game. I want the Ambrosia Software that I loved. [alert admin]

prefpane deletions...

left my prefpanes alone just fine, running 10.3.1 on a quicksilver G4 733. I suggest that you backup your prefpane folder (/library/prefpanes) in any case. [alert admin]

PixxxGrabber 1.1 (Mac OS X)

not exactly sure what it's use is, but...

I'm still not exactly sure what you would use this for, but this version does not have an installer and uses only 1.5 percent of my CPU (G4 733) when idling. [alert admin]

I hope this doesn't become a trend

Gee, I hope developers don't take advantage of the new developments in the new OSs too. /Sarcasm

Little Snitch

If you are paranoid about your software "phoning home" get a little application called little snitch. It will tell you when an app tries to connect to a server and allow you to block it if you wish. Developer: I am not telling him this as a means to aid piracy, but a means to allay fears that may be unfounded.

black screen craptastic

what game sets your refresh rate to 100? Most monitors can only display up to 75 or 80 so I doubt that your trouble is with your video card. Check your monitor documentation to see what it is capable of displaying.

oh my lord does this blow!

you say you spent an entire day trying to download and you could not find 1 single file to download? How can you possibly say that the developers do not have a brain? This program is quite simple....
