Frictionless 0.8.2 (Mac OS X)
... and maybe useful. I'll surely give it a try in the infinite quest for the right tool to remove some mess from my working days :) Anyway, even for me syncing is the problem, not with .Mac but with Palm or iCal... What about letting us "publish or "unpublish" a set of to-do in iCal? If all the to-dos of every single project could maybe stall iCal, a single "project-set" could solve a work-trip or the daily stuff. Then, when you've done, you can remove the old set (maybe keeping tracks of completed and uncompleted tasks) and publish the new one in iCal, to have it always ready on your Palm or to publish it on the web with .Mac. Well, anyway, thanks for the effort, the idea is very good and the UI too. Hope you go on developing it. [alert admin]

AudioSlicer 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
When it finishes the mp3 scan, it just crashes. Nothing more, nothing less. [alert admin]

Drop2DV 1.0c (Mac OS X)
I had to convert to DV for editing a DVD produced by a set-top DVD recorder... all the other converters, even the shareware ones and FFmpeg, failed. After the conversion I discovered that the DVD was recorded half-size. Don't know if was it that crashed other converters, but Drop2DV was the only one to solve my problem perfectly. Great and simple tool! [alert admin]

iBackup 4.1.3 (Mac OS X)
Nice for its ready-to-use list of stuff to backup, like preferences, libraries and mail folder. Its interface makes it really easy to backup important things even for those who never dig inside the system. But if you use it professionally it shows some flaws. As many have already stated, it lacks the possibility to define multiple backup profiles, and on production machines it's quite important to define different profiles for different files or clients. Then, I really don't like the fact that during the backup the feedback is so scarce it's almost unuseful: I don't know which file or folder it's checking (only in a superficial way) and most of all I have no way to understand how much time it will get. And if your backup is many gigas, it's not an option... believe me! And it's even worse if you consider that this app is processor intensive and it's not easy to stop since most of the time you have to hit the cancel button repeatitly (and I work on a G5DP). So do your backups only when your mac is idle or you'll get frustrated trying to do something else at the same time. IMO, it's a very good and easy to use backup utility for the home user, for it's iphoto or itunes libraries... but for professional users you can find better options, even in the freeware. SilverKeeper, for example. [alert admin]

Much better than the previuos versions, more stable and solid. Faster than before and faster than the original BitTorrent client. Not as fast as Transmission, but much more reliable (no corrupt files, if it crashes the restart is fast and bug free) Minimum cpu usage. And of course the GUI is a hit! ;) Thanks to the developer for the efforts! Keep going with the development! :) [alert admin]

Simple CSS 1.2 (Mac OS X)
This app lacks the possibility to edit directly the css code. Ok for the GUI and all the rest, all nice and stable and fast, but sometimes I need to put my hands inside the css. Just for example, to copy/paste lines from a style to another. In Simple css I have to create every style from ground up. Very good for quality, not as much for advanced features. 4 stars. That's Not a Picture 3.1 (Mac OS X)
I can think of two possible uses. - Convert complex page structure from vectorial drawing to tables, but I don't know the quality of the code. You could "draw" a page instead than input numbers and numbers in the code - with email, where a table appears immediately on opening the email, while an image has to be loaded afterward. But I fear this could change a light email in a heavy one... Well, worth a try for me... [alert admin]

burning more that 2 X still not possible ...
try to check if there's any upgrade for the firmware of your internal dvd. Not from apple, but from the original brand (pioneer or similar).if you have an intel mac you can launch the firmware update from windows, otherwise you can use patchburn under MacOSX. I had your same problem. my dvd burned many brand at 4x instead of 8x. I updated the firmware and, after initially messing up something, in the end I updated the…

This is something iTunes has needed for some time.
What about right-clicking on the itunes dock icon and using the "My Rating" submenu??? :)

Tags auto-completion is the single most wanted feature for many of us, I guess! Since I usually make a lot of typos writing, with Dreamweaver auto-completion of tags (and parameters... many time is difficult to remember less used params) even I, a graphic designer. can produce good code. Otherwise I can loose hours looking for stupid single-letter errors, very hard to find. I haven't found until now an html editor capable of auto-completion, not in the freeware,…
