GraphicConverter 6.0.4 (Mac OS X)
downloaded current version. hung on first open file. could not force quit. on manual shutdown and restart could not get past blue screen. started with backup disk and deleted GraphicConverter. after restart all is well. something may be wrong with the new release [alert admin]

SuperDuper! 2.5 (Mac OS X)
far and away the best backup program for Leopard. Intuitive interface; active user group; fast. makes bootable backups. I wonder why I need time machine... thinking of turning it off! [alert admin]

works as described under Leopard. A really useful ( rare) dashboard widget. I use it multiple times every day pair it with iCalEvents and you get a convenient ToDo and calendar events sitting next to each other in the same format on your dashboard. ...and you can't beat the price [alert admin]

jobs has announced plans for iphine based apps. before release they will be vetted by apple. smart. the contents of my iphone are too important to let some not quite competent mess it up. BTW several apps (e.g., 1password) have managed to develop quite useful iphone applications
