Paperless 1.0 (Mac OS X)
A software named "paperless" already exists, and it's freeware: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/204667 You should have probably spent a little more time to find and original name before releasing this. [alert admin]

Shorten URL with Bit.ly 1.0 (Mac OS X)
A solution to a non-existing problem?
Why should I go and scroll in the Services menu to find the right command, when I can simply use their native bookmarklet instead? One click and it's done, you can't beat that. [alert admin]

Secret of the Lost Cavern Demo 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Let me start from the beginning: yes, the “installer” is only 2.6MB, but it will download a 310MB dmg with the actual game. After that, let's get into the game. It's a point‘n’click adventure, with video scenes between the different enigmas. In this demo you'll explore the first cave, where you'll learn to start a fire and build your weapon. The characters are not so great, but the environment is actually pretty good, and it runs fine even on a 1st-gen MacBook (it lags only when you're outside, with wide landscapes to render). It gives you some nice historic background too, if you want to explore it… you don't need to, but it can help. I don't know the other parts of the game, but this is still a nice demo that will last for 15-30 minutes: the time depends only on your ability to solve the game, and how much you want to actually watch the beautiful paintings on the walls. USBCat 1.0 (Mac OS X)
You can't do a PPC-only software in 2008. Even if it's just a silly usb cat utility, you should have compiled it in UB format. [alert admin]

Tunnel 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I'd love to see more of these SMS-controlled minigames. I have to say that this one gets boring a little too fast, but I assume it's just the nature of the original old game it's been made upon. The control on my MB is almost perfect, you could go on forever without even coming close to the walls. It could actually become a nice game if you make it more challenging. [alert admin]

JAP / JonDo 00.09.003 (Mac OS X)
It works better than I expected. The interface doesn't follow Apple rules, but it's a java piece of software so I already knew it. Speed really depends on what service you're connecting too, some are very slow while others are actually fine for browsing. [alert admin]

Transmission 0.94 (Mac OS X)
Still the best lightweight torrent client on the Mac. And yes, the new 0.94 is really a bit faster than the 0.93 was. [alert admin]

Same here. I learned about it with the free licence, and I've found it SO good that I actually decided to buy a regular license (I did it 2 week ago, before 2.6 was even released). We all knew the free licence wouldn't have given us eternal upgrades. They said it at the beginning, they said it (i think twice) in the newsletter, and it was written even before upgrading to the new version. I don't…

I've also noticed that you probably just need to rename the file from ".dmg.bz2" to simply ".dmg" (I have no idea why Safari adds the bz2 extention to this file).

aMSN has video chat support with MSN Messenger, but with no audio. If this Yahoo client gets audio and video fully compatible with Live (MSN) Messenger, that we have a real winner.
