SoundandLights III 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Not only here, but there's no description on the developer's site, either. I'm afraid to run the program to see what it is. OS doesn't even see it as a package so I could try and guess what it is based on its contents. Anyone else brave enough to launch it? [alert admin]

PodQuest 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Nice idea, but you can save the direction text from MapQuest to a text file and copy that file to your iPod manually. For $10, I'll just do it manually. Now, if it were more like a buck or three, it might be worth saving the extra 30 seconds to accomplish the task. [alert admin]

Basic Transparent 1.0 (Mac OS X)
More useless software for built-in OS X feature?
What makes using this a better alternative to simply deactivating OS X's screen effects and enabling the monitor dim setting? [alert admin]

HourWorld 3.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
earthdesk has a better-looking (i.e. more natural) image and more map projection options. the night shading also includes the ability to show the region where the moon is above or below the horizon. [alert admin]

hey, yahoo... VOICE CHAT ... VOICE CHAT ... VOICE CHAT. whatever you're doing with YM right now....DROP IT. none of us CARE about any other tweaks and goofy gadgets you're working on. it is almost (not totally, but almost) pointless to have added webcam support before voice chat support. they should have been added simultaneously. there is absolutely no straight-faced reason YM for Mac doesn't yet do voice chats. get off your arses and add voice chat to the next version! IP 3.71 (Mac OS X)
to load up a web address and wait for it to not only load but also poll your machine. IP gives you this info from a handy menu, plus gives you your LAN address which is handy for me...something whatismyip.com doesn't do...and IP also makes it easier to copy the IP to the clipboard. [alert admin]

Hacker Translator 1.01 (Mac OS X)
may do what it says, it completely misses the point. If you aren't able to write it on your own, then you aren't l33t enough to consider yourself a h4x0r. [alert admin]

Raptor - Air Superiority Fighter 1.1.2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
G4 PowerBook, 1GB of RAM. Game launched, went to black screen, and music started playing. No picture. Hitting ESC revealed the menu bar where I could only resume or restart--both of which returned to the black screen. Quit game and deleted it. Possible reason--I have a VGA secondary monitor attached through the DVI adapter. Does the game not work with dual monitors? No matter, because if it doesn't, I'm not going to disconnect just to play the game. Oh well. [alert admin]

DockExtender 3.0 (Mac OS X)
the product, but two stars off for erasing all the items and the custom icons in the three docklings I had set up, forcing me to start over. [alert admin]

no need to get nasty. did you have a bad childhood, causing you to believe anyone who asks a question is being snotty and deserves to be answered accordingly? jeez! #1 i simply asked a question, which you answered...the benefit is the ability to password protect your return. i don't use that feature so it wasn't immediately apparent to me. you've made it apparent. thank you. #2 did you even notice what type of posting i left…
