djoPlayer 3.5.1 (Mac OS X)

Good

I spent about 2 hours downloading various items ( 3ivx, divx, divxdoctor, etc ). Nothing worked. Then I found this and it played the video without a problem! ( xvid ) Obviously, I love the program, but it can definitely use some upgrades and bug fixes. [alert admin]

Acquisition 132.1 (Mac OS X)

129.1 is the last known good version

I have downloaded "update" after "update" and have always had to go right back to my trusty 129.1 I have the same issues as the others listing here. I was really hoping things would be fixed by now. If I didn't still have 129.1 I would be calling up demanding a refund for my registration fee!!!!! [alert admin]

FlickrExport for iPhoto 1.3.1 (Mac OS X)

If 6.0 = Yes, then Intel = No

After choosing a few photos, then going to File->Export , the flickr export pane doesn't even show up. [alert admin]

Ircle X 3.5a2 (Mac OS X)

Broken

This version locks my computer solid. First time, it locked everything. Second time it shows error -50 and then locks everything. 3.1.2 works fine. I am on MacBook Pro 2.0ghz, Mac Osx 10.4.5 [alert admin]

Acquisition 103.4 (Mac OS X)

Sad attempt

This weekly version update is what limewire used to do. They just want exposure. i think half of the updates done in the last 6 months have been 5-10 word changes in the "read me" file that comes with it, thus an "upgrade"? Hardly. I wish Neo would be developed more - that is the best p2p app I have used. [alert admin]

Acquisition 99.3 (Mac OS X)

harryal:

Very scary! I would be dumping cox in a heartbeat if I got a letter like that - geez. Anyway - it is fairly easy to track if you are using Acquisition because the author has built in "back doors" that have the software connect to his website to pass along and validate data. As for file sharing in general - specific ports are used for specific networks. If they detect those ports in use, then viola, it is obvious what you are doing. [alert admin]

LimeWire X 3.4.1 (Mac OS X)

C rap

I will never use this software again, for the simple fact that this is about the 200'th update this month alone and I am fairly sure all they do is change a word or two in the "readme" files and call that an update. Plus this software is SLOW, Bloated, and 99.9999% of the time all it lists is "Host(s) Offline" [alert admin]

Acquisition 0.82 (Mac OS X)

70% of the…

items I attempt to download result in "Remote host offline or busy" - why are the files listed if it's impossible to get them? And will this program EVER have local queuing? [alert admin]
