Microsoft Silverlight 3.0.40818.0 (Mac OS X)
Exuberantly Frustrating.. just throwing more PROPRIETARY Video codecs out there. NO PPC Support, Demands much CPU, Has security holes. Loaded with M$ DRM. Kinda scary some of this stuff! Quality of video is deplorable on the mac, while on the PC it's mediocre at best. The sheer fact that this video codec is as inferior as it is on the mac in comparison to its PC counterpart should upset most. Micro$oft on YOUR mac, think they have your best interest in mind? MenuMeters 1.4b1 (Mac OS X)
You know the saying, "you don't know what you had until it's gone" Well for me that was menu meters! I know sad right, but seriously, this is a must have utility, and frankly one I deeply missed after upgrading to Snow. . Now it's back! Thanks for this. Thanks for the speedy update! [alert admin]

EyeTV 3.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Very Poor Customer Support. Product support is huge, and Elgato Eye tv falls very short. Next if you are even remotely close to thinking this will replace a Tivo, think again. As a former Tivo owner I tried this product out as to avoid annoying tivo adds and monthly fees. Eye Tv falls short in many, many ways. For one if you are watching a show and you hit record, you only get from that point on. In addition Elgato Eye tv simply defaults to whatever recording time you set 3 hrs etc etc.. Tivo is intelligent, figures out that when the show ends so should the recording. It will also record 15-30 minutes behind just for good measure. Eye-tv? No. If you use satellite service, just plain forget it altogether, doesn't work, the schedules are pure chaos. Oh also if your using this on anything G4, forget it. Despite what the min requirements say, won't work. Dual G5's even have trouble. I do not recommend. blasko181@yahoo.com [alert admin]

Microsoft Office 2008 12.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Horrible. Does this correct the auto update loop? How do you fix that? Very despondent here. Ugh. Sigh. Any insight would be appreciated. [alert admin]

First off let's get real. If you don't have an Intel based mac, don't even bother. Second, there seem to be tons of Glitches everywhere..(hence the very long bugfix report) and at best falls very short on Tivo like features. Generally don't look to this setup to replace your DVR or Tivo box (as I did) You will find yourself very turned off by the lack of support from ElGato, and you will inevitably be returning the product (as I did). I am really looking to get rid of my Tivo, since I don't agree with subscription based services that can be handled on the hardware level. I am hoping Apple Will add DVR ability to their AppleTv. Apple are you reading? :) [alert admin]

Ah, these are the very type of apps that one should expect on a mac. Vector based graphics, Easy, Fun and VERY intuitive. One click access to publish pics online! Cmon, does it get any easier? I sure wish Photoshop worked like this app. [alert admin]

Leopard is definitely a new OS, and like any has a few bugs. These updates have been solid and only make leopard better. This update does exactly that. Thanks for this. [alert admin]

The scope of what this app can do is far beyond the basic settings from the Finder. Also it's not a Firewall, it's a Sentry..much more intelligent security app.

Hello, Yes actually that's exactly what the new version of KopyMac does..it continues copying and produces an error log on desktop if there was any trouble. In addition I have completed the recursive or nested file handler. :)

Try deleting the prefs found in your users/library/preferences file. The name is kopymac.plist Also if you are having trouble getting Kopymac to copy files to the destination, try opening the terminal and dragging the destination volume to the terminal. This should give you a printout of the path. something like this: /Volumes/yourdisk/ Simply copy and paste the path you see in the Terminal, and select "edit" Preferences from KopyMac's menu. Now paste the…
