EyeTV 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Unusable due to bugs and poor support.

First off let's get real. If you don't have an Intel based mac, don't even bother. Second, there seem to be tons of Glitches everywhere..(hence the very long bugfix report) and at best falls very short on Tivo like features. Generally don't look to this setup to replace your DVR or Tivo box (as I did) You will find yourself very turned off by the lack of support from ElGato, and you will inevitably be returning the product (as I did). I am really looking to get rid of my Tivo, since I don't agree with subscription based services that can be handled on the hardware level. I am hoping Apple Will add DVR ability to their AppleTv. Apple are you reading? :) [alert admin]

Very Excellent Wonderful

Ah, these are the very type of apps that one should expect on a mac. Vector based graphics, Easy, Fun and VERY intuitive. One click access to publish pics online! Cmon, does it get any easier? I sure wish Photoshop worked like this app. [alert admin]

Awesome thanks.

Leopard is definitely a new OS, and like any has a few bugs. These updates have been solid and only make leopard better. This update does exactly that. Thanks for this. [alert admin]

Microsoft IntelliPoint & IntelliType 6.2 (Mac OS X)

Drivers? Really?

So 6.9MB for Mouse&Keyboard drivers? WOW. Do you think Simple devices should even need drivers? I don't. Preference panes installed? Yuk.. can't they make use of Apple's OHC controllers? Nope, that would be too easy, instead your left with yet another startup item, pref panel to slow or glitch your system. Micro$oft has no doubt and continues to take your money, and therefor never will truly die, but I say it's sooo 80's. [alert admin]

Unneeded in Tiger?

The scope of what this app can do is far beyond the basic settings from the Finder. Also it's not a Firewall, it's a Sentry..much more intelligent security app.

"file not found" error and usability commentary

Hello, Yes actually that's exactly what the new version of KopyMac does..it continues copying and produces an error log on desktop if there was any trouble. In addition I have completed the recursive or nested file handler. :)

error

Try deleting the prefs found in your users/library/preferences file. The name is kopymac.plist Also if you are having trouble getting Kopymac to copy files to the destination, try opening the terminal and dragging the destination volume to the terminal. This should give you a printout of the path. something like this: /Volumes/yourdisk/ Simply copy and paste the path you see in the Terminal, and select "edit" Preferences from KopyMac's menu. Now paste the…

Mailbox scanning

lucane1_dotmac , Thanks for this bit of info, however commercial software should be robust enough to allow the user decision to enable or dissable .mbox archive scanning. Furthermore, it should be able to extract just the one infected file without destroying the entire archive. I don't know maybe I ask too much! :) Perhaps you can configure these options in Virex, but I haven't seen how.
