FontAgent Pro 3.1 (Mac OS X)

Indispensable to our designers

I was very pleased with the stability of the server version of FAP! I'm glad we can purchase it at last. The Workgroup Edition has been working very well for our artists. Unlike when we used Suitcase as our standard font management, I rarely have to visit an artist's station about font issues anymore. It's nice be able to spend more I.T. time on the other things which require more undivided attention than I had been able to give before now! [alert admin]

FontAgent Pro 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Font management for 10.4.x

When our graphic design firm wanted to switch its 20 plus artists from OS 10.3 to 10.4, we had been using Suitcase 11.x and thought we could get away with it. The result was an increase in down time rather than in production time, not to mention a total lack of security. After trying FontAgent Pro we were pleased that our artists were back to work and spending less time being frustrated with constant crashes which affected most of their programs. With FontAgent we have had very few problems and those could usually be traced to the font's fitness or age or other program prefs. We just ordered several more licenses for those employees moving from OS 10.3 to 10.4 and look forward to the FontAgent Server version, which is now being tested and will allow us both more access and control.
