Engauge Digitizer 2.15 (Mac OS X)

Where is the engauge.app?

When the tar file is expanded there is no sign of the engauge.app as implied by the INSTALL text file. Is there something wrong with this build? (Mac OS10.3.9) [alert admin]

Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor 3.2 (Mac OS X)

Version 3.2 download probably is 3.1

The 'wrong version' problem existed with the upgrade to 3.1 as well and was later fixed by Ten Thumbs. But in this case, the 3.2 download probably really is 3.1 - at least it has the same modification date... [alert admin]

PageSpinner 4.6.2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Line numbers at last! (and download OK)

I've used Pagespinner since way back and have been very happy with it, apart from having to drop a source file into something else to see line numbers (for error fixing). And now we have them – well done. The download worked for me, no problems (using 10.3.9, Firefox, saved to a folder and used Stuffit to decompress the smi file) [alert admin]

Balthisar Tidy 0.5 (Mac OS X)

Works well for me

Just used this app to recover layout on HTML 4.01 Transitional pages which had been optimised using HTML-Optimiser Pro and accidentally overwritten original. Worked very well (especially when turned off the 'convert &' option) and revalidated OK. Useful addition to the toolkit. Using OS 10.2.6. [alert admin]

PageSpinner 4.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Great application (but line numbers please)

This version of PageSpinner is nearly perfect. It seems very stable (still using OS10.2.6) and the new preview facility saves a lot of time. Would really appreciate optional line numbering though when fixing problems reported by http://validator.w3.org/ [alert admin]

Gammawork 1.5 (Mac OS X)

Very useful

Gammawork has greatly improved the readability and usability of two elderly displays. One minor niggle is that it does not seem possible to launch Gammawork and hide the curves window on start-up. No stability problems so far. David S [alert admin]
