Radon Browser 1.5 (Mac OS X)
This application gets better with each update, but I don't like many of the interface things: 1. The preferences do not have a good layout 2. The Krypton panel is rather ugly 3. The buttons (toolbar, preferences, etc.) are kind of gross 4. I don't like brushed metal 5. Do not make the URL field look like a search bar!!! Rounded is not attractive... 6. And more... Here's a thought: make it look like a unified version of Safari. Give it a smart, uncluttered, look and feel. It makes me think I'm in some sort of a Cocoa maze. Take the preferences and downloader, for instance: they don't have much content, therefore they should be small panels. Also, I wouldn't use utility panels. Not good! Another thing, the whole goal of Mac OS X is "you know one program, you know all". Your keyboard shortcuts should match Safari. Apple made them what they are for a reason: Page bigger: ⌘+ Page smaller: ⌘- Page normal size: ⌘0 Back: ⌘[ Forward: ⌘] Home: ⌘⇧H View source: ⌥⌘U Reload page: ⌘R Stop: ⌘. Downloads (Krypton): ⌥⌘L Clean up the interface and then this is a GOOD web browser. [alert admin]

bigCalc 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)
This application does what it says, I'll give it that. It has a few more features (and a few less in other areas) than Apple's Calculator.app, but its interface is neither good looking, nor very easy to figure out.
I rate it like this (along with VersionTracker's ratings):
Ease of Use - 3 stars (bad interface - no help documentation) (it would have been worse, but I did like its functionality)
Interface - 2 stars (REALBasic)
Support / Documentation - 4 stars (does have website)
Included Documentation - 1 star (no help documentation)
Features - 4 stars (slightly better and slightly worse than Calendar.app)
Quality / Stability - 5 stars (didn't crash)
Actual Quality - 3 stars (bad interface, but the application does work)
Price - 5 stars (it's free)
I only partially recommend this application, but it was more "Yes" than "No", so I guess I do.
It's a good start... [alert admin]

Schreiben 2.4.1 (Mac OS X)
This application is much better than others I've tried, but its interface is kind of weird (the window title). [alert admin]

skEdit 4.0 (Mac OS X)
I FEEL SO STUPID!!! Ignore the last post, I need to use my eyes! There it was, right in front of me! I LOVE this application. That's why I had to turn this into a review and post 5 stars. [alert admin]

skEdit 4.0 (Mac OS X)
I can't make sense of the new syntax coloring preference pane. I checked the help manual and it was no help. I used to be able to edit specific colors for different parts of the document (tags, quotes, comments, etc). HELP!!! [alert admin]

Chopper 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Why is it suddenly shareware? 1.0.4 was nearly as good and it was freeware! I wish it was still free, because now after I updated, it's giving me a limit of the numbers of more days I can play it.
Great game, but soon I won't be able to play it.
Oh, by the way, it's graphics are good, but the "crashes", people dying, and buildings falling down aren't realistic. [alert admin]

Docker 1.0 (Mac OS X)
This program is awesome! It does an amazing job with customizing the dock! I didn't know you could customize it that much. Very good job. It does what it says and does well. [alert admin]

Leopaque 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I love the name, but the transparency is kind of cool. Most people probably like it that way. Of course, there are some who don't like it, and this is probably a lifesaver for them. Great product! [alert admin]

To the developer: Do you think you will ever support an iBook G3? Does it now? I hope you will let me know soon... [alert admin]

REALbasic 2007 r5 (Mac OS X)
Okay, here are some definite reasons to NOT use REALBasic:
1. It's slow -- you'd have to have a G4 (at least) to be able to run it.
a. Xcode and Interface Builder are actually fast all the way back to an old G3.
2. It doesn't write Cocoa programs. The programs it writes are downright UGLY.
a. Xcode and Interface Builder are made by Apple, so they follow Apple's user interface guidelines. They make applications that look great.
3. It is NOT simple and easy to understand. It's interface is a joke. You have tons of items to drag into your interface, but there are no connections as far as I can tell (maybe they're just hard to find).
a. Xcode and Interface Builder are easy to understand, the connections are easy to create, and it's interface is very helpful and easy to learn.
4. Supposedly you can build for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Well, you can. BUT, you have to edit simple information about the application 3 times! Also, you can't make one common interface, so each platform will get a different version of the same application!
Oh, well. In summary, DON'T use this software. It's not as good as Xcode (2 or 3) and Interface Builder (2 or 3). It creates ugly, bloated, memory-hogging applications that don't follow any user interface guidelines. [alert admin]

Whoa... Hold it. You're calling REALBasic a good programming language?!?! It's an expensive program that writes bloated, ugly applications. Also, it does not follow Apple's User Interface Guidelines. And don't give me your fancy "writing software" speech, because I do, and I'm not afraid to use Apple's development suite!

1.5.1 still has panels that have wasted space, and for some reason the "View Source" and "Check for Updates" menu items are under "Window". "Check for Updates" should be directly under the "About" menu item in the application menu. "View Source" should be under "View". The "Back", "Forward", and "Home" menu items should be under "History" with the actual history under those items. The font size controls, "Stop", Reload", and all toolbar controls should be…

YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!! I can't believe the current government thinks that they can impede on people's rightful privacy. What happened to freedom of the press and people's rights? Are they going to remove those amendments just like they want to do away with the whole Constitution itself? The NSA needs to stay out of people's way! Seriously, do they think everyone's out to get them??? Give me back democracy! P.S. The NSA is also probably reading our…

Smultron version 3.2 and later is for Leopard users only. The developer does have older downloads that are for Tiger, though. They might be on this VersionTracker listing, but I know they're on his website.

I see... I have a white iBook G3 800 MHz and it doesn't work either. It says something about not supporting something. I forgot what it said. Oh, well... It looks like a great app (or plugin or something), though.
