C.L.A.P. 1.5 (Mac OS X)

Not just a launcher

The point about using something like launchbar to launch a comand line app is well taken. But C.L.A.P. is not really a launcher. It is made to ease SWITCHING to a command line application, or a pre-configured terminal window. C.L.A.P. is written to help heavy terminal users navigate their standard set of terminal windows more easily. [alert admin]

OraCal2iCal 2.5 (Mac OS X)

Error: NSCannotCreateScriptCommandError

From the trouble shooting document: Problem: I see the error NSReceiverEvaluationsScriptError: 4 Suggestion: This is usually caused by not having the "Enable access for assistive devices" checked in the Univeersal Access Control panel. See the read me for instructions on how to fix this. If this does not fix the problem, I would love to work with someone who is seeing it to track down the cause. I can not reproduce the error here. C.L.A.P. 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Bug in 10.3

*SIGH* there is a bug in OS 10.3 that makes C.L.A.P. less useful than it is on earlier OS versions. The bug has been reported to Apple. The bug is that .term files can not be opened via any method other than from the Terminal "File" menu. C.L.A.P. depends on opening .term files via apple events. C.L.A.P. will still work in 10.3 to "reactivate" a Terminal window, but the window itself will have to opened by hand from the File menu of Terminal. It is hoped that an update to the OS will resolve this problem. [alert admin]

httpmail plugin 1.30 (Mac OS X)

Great Job!

Works great. I also had to run the terminal command again after removing the "Disabled" from the bundles folder, but that was no problem, and it seems rock solid for me at this point! Well done. And you can't beat free. [alert admin]

Problem under 10.5.1?

The image does not show up on my desktop under 10.5.1 either :( I am not getting the same error in the console as you are, however. Not for the faint of heart

I (author of the app) am sorry to hear that the creation of the group was not as easy as it could be. But I will note that there is a full documentation file with the application that talks about how to create this group. It is still not near as easy as I would like it to be, but it is documented. The README file also points directly to this support document if you…
