Eudora Mailbox Cleaner 4.2.2 (Mac OS X)
I worked with Andreas during the past week to identify and fix the problem identified for this release. Five-star support! Though this was the first time I ever used the app, and he got paid nothing, Andreas provided fast, personal, friendly support that finally made it possible for me to make the switch (after 10 years) from Eudora/POP to Thunderbird/IMAP. Thank you, thank you. [alert admin]

Epson TWAIN and Scan Utility 1.25A (Mac OS X)
I long ago gave up on the slackers at Epson and paid for VueScan. Ticks me off that they ignored OS X users for YEARS when *one single guy* cleaned their clocks by providing a full-featured program that not only supports Epson scanners, but scores of others. Epson, go back to your corner. You should be ashamed. After that clear demonstration of incompetence or indifference, I have crossed Epson off my list for any future computer peripherals. Griffin Final Vinyl 0.6 (Mac OS X)
your vinyl to CD with ease! The reality: if you want to do a good job, you'll have to spend at least a few hours to transfer and clean up and burn and create a label, etc. In the end, you'll probably still have surface scratch noise. Is it really worth all that to save, oh, 12 to 14 bucks? I guess so, if your time is only worth two or three bucks an hour, and you don't care about the end result as much. For myself, I've decided it's worth the money to have a CD already made for me, usually from the original master, with the jewel case, liner notes, etc. Of course, if the DRM b.s. continues, that's another consideration... VueScan 7.5.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
move to Applications, run, bomb. I'm disappointed that Ed doesn't want to hear from his users as much as many developers do. Couldn't find any e-mail addr on his site.
