3 under OS 9. Download latest OS X version. I don't see any extraneous purchasing here. [alert admin]

Data Rescue 3.0b (Mac OS 9)
version doesn't seem as picky as the OS X version -- the 9 version didn't crash. The X version has a nice interface, but if it wasn't such a little whiner it would work. It crashes right after it begins to search for duplicate files, so now I have to time it to "stop rescue" right before that happens. Fix bugs, then I might recover my drive. Not rating till it stops crashing. [alert admin]

Quake II 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
load Linux/FreeBSD libs for proprietary mods, a la Action Quake Espionage? Overall good product, I deduct one star because the mouse if very sluggish (sensitivity just makes me turn in circles faster, i've also messed with m_yaw and m_pitch, but the mouse seems to want to accellerate instead of move statically) I love watching demos in a small window while I do other things though! v. 1.0.5 [alert admin]

Quake III Arena X 1.31b3 (Mac OS X)
stars for effort, and from what I hear, 4 stars for coding, and ZERO STARS FOR id's FTP. We don't make a lot of revenue for id? We sure can clog its FTP servers. [alert admin]

waiting for my Philips IDE CD-RW to be supported by iTunes. Other than that, OS X is really on its way. I look forward to the day I can run it on a worthy machine. [alert admin]
