GoogleMaps 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
but last time I read the Google terms and conditions you were expressly forbidden from pulling down Google Maps into an application that isn't a web browser. Add to that the fact that he's called it "GoogleMaps" and I'd be surprised if this product stays public for long. Besides http://maps.google.com is no further away from my keyboard. [alert admin]

Lego Digital Designer 3.0.9 (Mac OS X)
Trying this on Snow Leopard, where 2.3.19 used to run just fine. All the installer does is delete the previous version (Which was running fine last week but it now says it won't talk to the server and you must upgrade) and then sits there "Preparing LEGO Digital Designer" forever. I can't even open the .pkg with Pacifist, I think it's corrupt. [alert admin]

Hotspot Shield 0.942-2 (Mac OS X)
Not only does it not give me a good email address in the US (for viewing Hulu.com) but it hijacks all my searches on Google.com and sends them to Ask.com instead. NOT COOL, I don't know what else is being hijacked because I deleted it straight away. [alert admin]

Geotagalog 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I've used it a bit more now and find it a bit better. I found a GPX file that didn't contain any (0,0) coordinates and it drew a nice line for me. Adjusting the slider to set the camera's clock was very slick, I've had to do the sum manually before and wanted a visual way. Here are a few problems that I'd need resolved before I thought about spending any money on it. Ignore all (0,0) coordinates. This is what GPSBabel writes into GPX files when converting something that didn't have a satellite fix at that instant Show all the photos that are being processed and allow the user fine grain choice. Just importing an entire folder is too much. Better underlying base map.The log I had was 10km long and the basemap was entirely one shade of green. Google's terrain map would be awesome but you can't do that if you're selling your software. Be able to move the map around/zoomin Don't import directly to iPhoto. Just modify the photos and leave them where they are [alert admin]

Geotagalog 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I wasn't expecting much from this, certainly not $20 worth, and I was right. THough it does draw a map it doesn't allow that map to be moved around and so my GPX files, which all include the origin of (0,0) are drawn including a line going to Africa with no way to zoomin on the area the log is actually from. Why anyone would pay for this over GPSPhotoLinker is beyone me [alert admin]

MultiClutch Beta 5 (Mac OS X)
The only reason I wanted to download this app was to bind Zoom In/Out to Google Earth, at first glance it seems that you can only bind actions to keystrokes that involve the command key. Since I want to pass on + and - to Google earth it's no use to me :( [alert admin]

Used on MacBook with 10.5.5 and it worked exactly as described. Thank you. [alert admin]

Keywurl 1.3 (Mac OS X)
I don't know what happened to Safari SIA since leopard came out but this is a worthy replacement. I had to change the settings for IMDB but the others work fine and I've added a few of my own. Great work. [alert admin]

First two tests for me went fine. Even handles built in GPS tags. [alert admin]

According to one of the other reviews the terms say that you can now do this. It's been a while since I read them, I was looking at using GM in a desktop app, and it looks like they've relaxed a bit since then.

Obvious question, have you restarted iMovie since making the change? Maybe you have iMovie in a different location to me and it can't find the file to edit. It should offer you the choice to locate iMovie if it can't be found. The simple fix is to put iMovie in your /Applications folder. I'll get to work on fix as soon as I can. Also, in the future you'd be better off emailing me directly with…

You had me all excited until I searched for those programs. I can't find PhotoCard and PosteRazor just cuts up one massive file into smaller pieces. That's all it does, how does that replace being able to place and organise many smaller photos into one big poster? (hint: it doesn't)

Have you read the Read Me file or the website? The idea is to drag your photos on to the Geotagger icon (in the Dock or in the Finder). It then gets the coordinates from Google Earth and writes the info into the images. Geotagger itself has and needs no interface other than it's icon.

Ummm, how on earth does this thing have anything to do with Apple being greedy? The guy trying to sell a button for $1 is *not Apple*. He's a completely separate developer. The new-Tab feature is available free in Safari, the only difference with this download is that a new tab will now open the homepage instead of a blank page. Personally I think it's ridiculous to pay a dollar for that, but then my…
