Quake III Arena X 1.3.2c (Mac OS X)
Upon launching this patch update I get an error message that says: "You need to select the installation directory for Quake 3 (not any directory inside of it -- the installation directory itself)." I pick the folder but all I get is the option to either "Quit" or "Open' when picking folder. "Select" doesn't even show up. Also, I cannot find the Quake III Point release for this 1.3.2 and it seems as if Fileplanet is the only location which is currently a dead link at this time. Anybody else have a location where to find this Point Release file? [alert admin]

Macally iShock/iShock II/AirStick 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I installed the new driver dated 2-12-04, iShock/iShock II/AireStick. Running Panther 10.3.2 with iShock (original). The readme file says: Do not be alarmed that you have downloaded an iShock II’s driver. iShock II’s driver can support both iShock and AirStick under Mac OS 10.2.x and Mac OS10.3.x. Upon attempting to run the iShockXManager, I get a message saying that it cannot detect any iShock II device, then suddenly quits. I know my iShock is powered up because I have a green light emitting from the controller. What gives? I still cannot use the original iShock controller. [alert admin]

Xounds 2.1 (Mac OS X)
I've got the same problem with Xounds 2.1 in Panther. Seems after purchase my sounds only worked for so long then nothing. I'd like to try the tip listed below on another post using version 1.4. Apparently there is no file but just a link to the new version 2.1. What gives? [alert admin]

but Ed Hamrick is nothing less than the best when it comes to reviving your boat anchor to life. Ed got my old trusty ScanMaker X6 SCSI to work like wonders in OS X Jaguar. Epson Stylus Photo 820 1.2bA (Mac OS X)
a hearing impairment, I can't call tech support. I can't seem to find a valid e-mail address to send my questions to Epson, how responsive can that be to snail mail them my questions? Aside from that, I cannot seem to be able to print custom size paper, and or envelopes in the correct preferred position or orientation in Jaguar 10.2. I've tried Acrobat, iDress, Print Explosion, among a few and none of them seem to be able to print correctly using the latest Epson driver (1.2bA) in Jaguar. Please Epson, could you at least lead me the way to live chat or at least an e-mail address to ask technical service questions. I think I'm entitled to a little bit more options than what I have said here when buying a product that gives praise to something that says it runs in OS X. Only 2 stars as this works fine with just standard 8.5" X 11" size. [alert admin]

ASM 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)
menu for X. Only problem in 10.2 Jaguar is that I have to disable ASM in order to use my Toast app. Otherwise it works great. [alert admin]

rating, I didn't sense much of a change at all. I like some of the new features such as remembering column widths but there are a couple of things that I really missed in this new version: 1. As admin, you can no longer see the download activity when going to the server monitor window. 2. In the "View Message" panel, you can no longer see the broadcast message in the column to the right of the "recieved" column. Any hopes in getting these to options back? Had these been in, I'd give 4 stars for a little improvement over 2.4.0. [alert admin]

I did the "Upgrade from 2.0" and for some reason, my "Shopping" list did not transfer over. Only my custom created groups transferred over.

Nevermind... I have found the Point Release update at FileShack. Works great. Too bad versiontracker doesn't put this critical update here on this site. Without it, this 1.32c update is useless. So if you are installing from the original Quake3 disc, you will first need the Point Release 1.32 before doing any other updates. Patch for Kensington & others with Stuttering Image 
I've used the Kensington patch as well. Sure the stuttering stops which is great, but now I'm having problems experiencing dark output. Even when going to the settings to "brighten" up the setting, then you lose quality. Is there an update to fix the "dark" setting?
