Oh come on... $15 is *cheap*. Almost pocket change. And well worth it for iBatt. Although I do wish the author would put a little more time into adding features (and answering emails). [alert admin]

System Preferences crash fixed

The crash when open the pref pane was caused by a bug in some code provided by Apple (the LoginItem API). It would fail to read login items that had non-ASCII characters in the path name. Thus, only users who had certain login items installed would experience the a crash. The new version 1.0.1 fixes this--fortunately the API is provided as code by Apple and could be fixed. -chris [alert admin]

Thanks for the comments. Btw, the disk unmounting bug was fixed in version 1.0.1, are you still seeing it? All other users have reported that it has been fixed.
