Snapz Pro X 2.1.3 (Mac OS X)

NO cost to upgrade if....

Might as well put this msge on its own before anyone sweats over upgrading costs. If you have version 2.x this new version is free. If you're still at version 1.x then yes, you'll have to shell out 20$ which, frankly, is a pittance for the usefulness of this app. From the ReadMe: Snapz Pro X 2 costs $69. Upgrades from Snapz Pro X 1.0 w/ movie capture are $20. This is a free update to registered users of Snapz Pro X 2.x. And for those that accuse Ambrosia of being evildoers, please remember that these folks remained with the Mac market through the lowest of times. [alert admin]

Delivery Status 4.3 (Mac OS X)

I'm being quite serious in writing..

that Delivery Status is now one of the 4, yes only 4, widgets that are Enabled in my Mac's DashBoard. I'll simply echo the positive commentary left before me and after posting this am headed to the developer's site to donate; it's important to acknowledge the developer's time and effort. Some may say it's only a widget to which I'll respond, "right, when is your version coming out?" ;) [alert admin]

VueScan 8.4.70 (Mac OS X)

Lide 80 Part 2

To follow lkrupp's post: Up until now i have no idea why i kept using Canon's insufferable, cpu-hogging ToolBoox app. (v.4.13) While they updated the ScanGear driver the app remains untouched and will probably remain so. I d/l'ed VuseScan, started it and...silence...the G5's fans did not ramp up as they did with the ToolBox app. Paid for the STD version w/in minutes :) [alert admin]

Wallet 2.7 (Mac OS X)

I like what I see...

and Wallet imported my Pastor files however it's plagued by a problem that occurs in 10.5's Mail app: the sidebar items appear in duplicate. I can't find the action which which triggers the duplicates. [alert admin]

CAPS Warn 2.2 (Mac OS X)

Great

Since having the black printed iSkin on my keyboard the CAPS lock light does not pass through completely. CAPS warn now makes this annoying issue moot! [alert admin]

Azureus BitTorrent Client 3.0.1.0 (Mac OS X)

Not bad really

On my Power Mac G5 2.0 Azu runs a little slow, then again java apps were never speed demons. Same bug exists in this version: if I use Azu then quit when done the Mac no longer goes to sleep (display does dim however). A restart terminates whatever process Azu switched on that prevents auto sleep. Otherwise this is the app for those that need to fine tune their torrent sessions. [alert admin]

iGlasses 1.4 (Mac OS X)

You want this

Got my new iSight today and tried out the iGlasses demo. Well, within the hour I bought it. Simply having it brighten the image when using the iSight under artificial lighting is worth the 8$. Saving customized settings could use a little refinement otherwise iGlasses is what Apple should have included with the iSight. [alert admin]

I would totally buy this app, if it weren't for...

Wow, an app that brings a multitude of conversion formats, ease of use, nice support, and speed to put QT to sham and you're put off by the one-liners? No I don't know you but God man you make me thing of a blonde easily distracted by shiny objects. I'll wager you'll never buy any software from the Freeverse folks either.

Doesn't work

Similar to Faltron, the file is not recognized as a compressed/encoded file. Intuit: where mediocrity is a goal.
