Safari Bookmark Exporter 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I loved this program up until I upgraded to Leopard. This is one of those programs we have come to depend on that is not supported in Leopard. :( Unless there is a way to export bookmarks in Leopard, I hope the developers read these posts and realize how much we need this app. I'd even be willing to pay something for it, it's that helpful! This is great! It makes calculating so easy on my MacBook and iBook, but it also works well on my iMac. It has the % function that the Apple Calculator doesn't have and I really need that. Thanks for a great app! [alert admin]

Apple Safari 3.0.3b (Mac OS X)
And just as I was liking Safari again, this. Crashes every time I try to print a .pdf document, doesn't show some .pdfs from websites. How can Safari be worse? Is Apple for planned obsolescence? My new mantra is "beta is buggy....beta is buggy....beta is buggy..." Can anyone tell me how to go back to version 2? [alert admin]

iBackup 6.0 (Mac OS X)
This version currently unavailable
The developer's website has been shut down by it's ISP. Either someone didn't pay their ISP bill, or they are out of business. Too bad, because this is a great program. [alert admin]

Mystical Mahjong 1.4 (Mac OS X)
Ditto Panamacoffee's remarks. I had to laugh about the "ghoulish hand" but he/she is so right. Replace that with a magic wand that looks more like a cursor, allow us to mute the annoying music, and we're good to go. My only problem then would be the price. I like this and the Mystical Solitaire game (again with the ghoulish hand) but I can't bring myself to pay $20 each when there are so many good free or inexpensive ones out there that do the job. I would be willing to pay $10 each, but that's my final offer. [alert admin]

Live Interior 3D 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I was so excited to see this as I've been looking for a similar program for a long time, that was affordable. MacZOT offered it today for $50. So I tried it before buying and it's a good thing I did. I spent a half hour getting all my outside walls just right, right size, etc. and suddenly got the spinning beach ball. I'm running OS 10.4.10 on a 160GB iMac G5 with 2GB of RAM and I repaired permissions before and after installation so there's no excuse for the spinning ball. Of course, all my work was lost. I'm just glad I hadn't finished my project first! [alert admin]

Apple Safari 3.0.2b (Mac OS X)
I'm just kind of sitting here chuckling over this--There are so many things I like about Safari over Firefox, but I'm just tired of it crashing all the time so I keep going back to Firefox. With this beta version I thought I'd try it again. Guess what? It says it will not install on my iMac G5 because there is not enough space. It needs 43 megs of space and I only have 70 GIGS(!) available, not to mention the 2 gigs of RAM.... Huh?! So Firefox it still is. [alert admin]

BackityMac 1.3.8 (Mac OS X)
Only 1.3.7 downloads, even from developer's site. Otherwise, have used it for over a year and have been pretty happy with it. So much like other utility apps I have that I rarely use it. [alert admin]

Transmit 3.5.5 (Mac OS X)
I've used Transmit for years and occasionally I try out other ftp clients just to make sure I'm still happy with Transmit. I always am. It is the easiest ftp client out there. I have no problem with the upload time as was mentioned below. I can upload 10-20 files at once in seconds. [alert admin]

"iWork 09 file formats are not compatible with iWork 08." This is not true. It is totally compatible and easily opens '08 and other previous versions. As with ALL new upgrades, previous versions will not open the new versions. However, Pages '09 gives you the option to save in a previous version that can be opened by previous versions of Pages. Same with Keynote and Numbers. I used to use MS Office all the time and iWork…

I have come to depend so heavily upon 1Password that when I updated to Safari 3.1 today and 1PW stopped working I emailed the developer. Within minutes I received a response to download the beta (1PW>Prefs>updates>allow beta) for an immediate fix (which it did) and that they would have the new version up and running today or tomorrow. Apple doesn't always let the developers know what's coming so sometimes they have to work 24/7 to catch…

It appears it only works on 10.4 and has not been updated for 10.5. I tried it with Leopard and it keeps crashing. At least we gave it the old college try. I love iClock and hope the developers come out with a Leopard version soon! The Apple menu bar clock is just plain sad.

OK. I found it. It places a += icon on your menu bar. When you click on that you get a small window that you can type numbers into and calculate things with your keyboard figures. Nothing special, no percentages, no memory, but hey, it's free.

That's because it's for Leopard (10.5). Read the description. :D When 3.0 is released it will ALSO work in Tiger (10.4).

Yes, it does work. It has been proven scientifically to work. In fact, they were using it in movie theaters to beef up the refreshment sales--and it did--until subliminal messaging was banned.
Type in a few good thoughts about yourself and try it again and see if it makes a difference in the way you feel. :)

Do you have any idea whatsoever, of the cost of a tuning strobe? Do you even play an instrument? Have you ever tuned an instrument? The quality of this program far exceeds the best strobe. I agree with the concert pianist above. Of course, I'm a professional organist and pianist and I tune my own instruments, too, but if it's good enough for us, it's good enough.
