DieticianX 2.3.1 (Mac OS X)
version 2.3.3 of DieticianX is now available
version 2.3.3 of DieticianX is now available at http://web.mac.com/dhoffmann1/iWeb/Web-Site/Dietician%20X.html It seems significantly improved since version 2.3.1 - I haven't really tried it very much yet. However, I am quite disappointed to not have found a glycemic index calculation (especially since the ads emphasize this program's special usefulness to diabetics.) [alert admin]

The new version 2.4.5 now seems to work just fine on a Mac 10.3.8 interface - it doesn't obviously need any more work. My favorite mode, "Classic", is a truly great game - very satisfying, exciting & extremely addictive. The others were less interesting to me. I'd rather it cost less than $20, but I can't say it's not worth it, anymore. [alert admin]

My favorite mode, "Classic", is a truly great game - very satisfying, exciting & extremely addictive. The others were less interesting to me. The program really doesn't yet work adequately on a Mac interface. - Yes, it's clumsy and inhospitable to the Mac userworld, but not so bad that it causes crashes or requires "Force Quits" or hard restarts to ge out of it. However, it certainly does NOT deserve Duckhue's "Best of Show ... First Place as the biggest piece of crap I've ever downloaded", although it needs a LOT more work! Definitely not yet worth more than $5.00. [alert admin]

me too - I can't even get a link to the Developer's Site (http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/) to not time out, either!

No incompatibily or other problems with the two operating together - I installed each upgrade the day they first became available. In fact it would have been very much harder for me to have used Puma, Jaguar and Panther ever since each of them came out, without the unique and excellent power of the FruitMenus - FM/APEM is one of my top 3 indispensible OS X system utilites. Because I don't use BBEdit (the only…
