Boinx Mousepose 1.3 (Mac OS X)
July 11, 2006 - where is it???
I would like to download this, but it no longer exists!!! I have been a version 1.2 user for a long time, and it would be nice to put it on my Intel Mac. [alert admin]

Parallels Workstation 2.1b4 (Mac OS X)
Macwintel is here, and the best way to have it done is thru Parallels Workstation. XP runs great, but my first attempt was with Windows 98, not much luck there. It seemed to only have 8 bit colour and no audio and no access to my wifi connection. I guess they wanted to fully support the most current OS, especially in this beta stage, which makes perfect sense. This is the most practical way to run Windows on your Mac and the speed on my 17" iMac is about 10 times faster than the Dell laptop I am forced to use this week at work. FANTASTIC! Wish list: to share folders on the iMac as drives on the VM. Drag 'n' drop file sharing between the two desktops. [alert admin]

Amadeus II 3.8.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Remember Sound Edit? I loved that program. The closest thing to it is this. I've been using Amadeus for years. The feature I think it sorely misses is multitracks. As little as four tracks will suffice and make it a truely excellent program and a true successor to Sound Edit. Can't wait for a Universal Binary of this. Yes please! [alert admin]

To-Do List Pro 1.42a (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
I have a brand new iMac, the one with Intel Core Duo inside. This application runs fine on it. I'm DARWINE (an open source project) to run this through X11 interface (audio not supported at this time - its only a few weeks old!). Thought I'd just let you know... [alert admin]

I have a new iMac, the 17" with an Intel Core Duo. I downloaded this game to see how well Darwine works in running a PC application. This one seems to work flawlessly. No sound seems to be supported in Darwine at the moment, but given that this Open Source project is only a few weeks old, this is very exciting already! Nice game. [alert admin]

Apple Bluetooth firmware 1.2.0 (Mac OS X)
I have a D-Link on my PowerBook, and the installer told me "not needed for your computer" so the instructions that say it is for "D-Link" is not accurate. [alert admin]

Gold Miner Joe 1.01 (Mac OS X)
This is a fun game, reminds me of the donkey kong games because you have to climb up ladders/ropes and jump, etc. along the way you discover stuff. Kids will love it. The price is a bit steep. [alert admin]

HandBrake 0.7.0 (Mac OS X)
This is a great program - works as advertised. All I need now is a G5 computer to make this thing work quicker than 24 hours to rip one movie! People should be able to backup the stuff they own, and be able to use it in other ways they see fit (like using it on a iPod or PSP), so this little free app is doing a great service for us consumers. Kudos to the author and others who help to develop it. [alert admin]

Anyone who has iLife, or Mac OS X qualifies for the $20 rebate, so why go thru all the trouble to xerox your Toast 6 CD?

It is obvious you belong to the company that makes this software, why pretend to be someone else? Just to give it a high rating??

$30 is reasonable for an upgrade, the archive assistant for auto-backups is worth it alone. It has some other interesting features, coming from version 7, I think it is a worthwhile update, but it maybe my last (then again, I did say that at version 7).
