One of My Favorite Palm Apps!  

If you travel a lot and need high-speed Internet access for your computer, this is the Palm app for you. I am *so* impressed my USB Modem. While setting up wasn't so clear, once I contacted support, it worked perfectly. My first use of it was in Las Vegas, where our hotel was charging its customers $10 a day for Internet use. I was there for 6 days, so I *would* have paid the hotel 60 bucks. Instead, I plugged in my Treo 700p, started USB Modem, clicked "connect" on my Powerbook... and I was surfing the Net at high-speed. This is an awesome product and it's saved me money already. It works anywhere you have a data connection with your mobile phone. NOTE: You need a data connection with UNLIMITED usage, or you will end up with a HUGE phone bill. If you need high-speed Internet on the roqad and you have a Treo, get this app. (Can you tell I like it?) Bryan [alert admin]

iSale 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)

I've Had It...  

Okay, I upgraded to 3.0 and upgraded to the 3.0.2 with the bug fixes. Still only a few templates (compared to GarageSale), the preview pane still doesn't open up in another window (as it did in 2.0 !) and still cramped and not easy to use. I just bought a license for GarageSale. Goodbye, iSale. You lost a good customer. [alert admin]

iSale 3.0 (Mac OS X)

So Disappointed  

After upgrading to 3.0, so many things are wrong and missing: - The preview function no longer opens up a new window, so I have to move the panes over to the left to just view my auction. This is just so inconvienient, especially on my 12" Powerbook. - Templates? Well, try editing font sizes and you can't have a gallery photo in a template. So, what's the point in having them? - My widget doesn't see my auctions anymore. - The documentaion is awful. For the "NEW" version, all you get is an ADDENDUM of 35 extra pages to the 2.0 manual. Since they aren't even using real paper... a PDF... why can't they just publish a new one? Who *does* this? - None of my older auction moved over and I now run TWO versions of the same program. You know, for an upgrade (a MAJOR one at that!) this could have been version 2.2. I'm looking at GarageSale now. I think I've had it with iSale. Bryan [alert admin]
