Realplayer (in any incarnation) is crap. If you need it for rm and ram etc. files, then use it. It works okay, just has way too much adverising and crap. make sure to check all the prefs in the program once you run it for the first time. (and again after that, sneaky programs will change prefs on you without you knowing) The link posted below was most helpful, as most people will search for "realplayer" under OS X and find nothing. TopStyle Pro 3.10 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
This is the only application that is missing from all the tools available for Mac OS X. Developers, please check out the Mac platform! Thanks. [alert admin]

Personal Write 0.1 (Mac OS X)
Nothing. You all should use Hydra, now called SubEthaEdit. It rocks and is lightweight as well. Personal Write does have a smaller codebase, and therefore takes up less room, but with the number of other activities in my life at the moment and for the forseeable future, I will not be updating the app. Those who use Personal Write b/c of the small application size (188KB) for special and enhanced uses (bootable USB, Zip, floppy, etc.) are free to continue using it, and please let me know if/when it breaks in a new OS update. Thank you. The possibility of incorporating the ability to load tablature as well as lyrics and have it highlight areas at a set tempo? For the present time, still a ways off in the distance. It will still be free. [alert admin]
