SvnX 1.1b3 (Mac OS X)
SvnX seems to cover the basics; there's a bit of a learning curve and a user guide for n00bs like myself would be a good thing (the ReadMe helps a lot, but if I hadn't used other SVN clients before I would have been pretty badly lost.) All in all though it gets the job done smoothly with a minimum of fuss, and goodness knows the price is right! [alert admin]

While I'd love to see a Line tool, more-functional text handling and a couple of other touches (Shift key to constrain drawing/painting to straight lines, etc.) overall this is an awesome tool for those who want an image editor that's small, simple (to use- it has a solid feature set) and stable. For those folks with graphics tablets- the brushes are pressure-sensitive, which was a nice surprise. [alert admin]

Reminds me a lot of TextWrangler- good solid functionality without a lot of unnecessary bells & whistles. Nice to find that although it's not designed for it, it also runs in Vista Home Premium (64bit) [alert admin]

This is a very simple bare-bones app that does just what it says. For those times when you just need a comprehensive listing of what's where, this is perfect. No graphic displays, no complicated interface, just a simple app that produces a nicely-structured text file telling you just what's in a given folder. And hey, you can't beat the price! CoffeeCup Free FTP 3.0 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
This app works quite well- connects reliably, good interface, no complaints about performance or ease of use. It's definitely aggressive adware though; since I don't use FTP often it's not a big deal, but be advised that you will be pestered; if that bugs you, look elsewhere. [alert admin]

RahmanImager 1.0 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
I like the interface- very professional, albeit a little cluttered. Reminds me strongly of Photoshop (hard to get away from that paradigm, I guess.) Remains to be seen how stable/usable it is in the long run, but so far so good! [alert admin]

Weecam 1.0.5 (Mac OS 9)
As of July 2003 the Alaris site isn't even responding... can we say "take the money and run"? Pity, it was a cute little camera, but at the moment it's just taking up space. TANSTAAFL, I guess; so much for "free" stuff. [alert admin]

I agree- it's a start but it definitely needs some polish. Drag and drop to select directory, some output other than print or PDF (even a formatted text file- copying from PDF is kludgy and you lose the structure), maybe a little speed boost (admittedly I'm on an old G3, but this is sloooowww) and a less cluttered interface would all make this a nifty little app. As it is it doesn't really do anything…
