SRS iWOW 2.0.2.255 (Mac OS X)
Looks like we need an update for iTunes 8
I get a few instances of genredetection processes which cause iTunes 8 to relaunch after I quit. Only Force Quit in Activity Monitor will let me quit iTunes so I can restart or shut down. These processes will also get in the way of a iPhone firmware update to version 2.1. Perhaps other similar things. I otherwise liked the plug-in, but will have to do without for a while. version 1.1.2 still needs a bit of work
Despite the title, first off, to the author David Benesch, thanks for this software, but I tried to sort the list from my TiVo by Date/Time and 3 of the 16 entries were sorted incorrectly. If I had your e-mail I could send you a screenshot. [alert admin]

Get with the program Versiontracker, it's now up to version 2.0

OSS 3D 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Affects Quicktime playback, not iTunes
You have to toggle it off and back on in the application, then it affects movies from Quicktime player, web videos, .MP3 files played in the Finder Get Info... windows' preview. Even under these cases, the sound is worse sounding. Hope the final version is better. I uninstalled it. Too bad, I liked it under iTunes 6.0.5 [alert admin]

Does not seem to affect ITunes 7.0.1 after installing.
Apparently no longer a iTunes plugin. Manual is for previous generation. [alert admin]

OSS 3D 1.62 (Mac OS X)
with OSS 3D installed, iTunes 7 starts up and seems OK until you realize there is no OSS 3D window and then if you try playing a song, it won't proceed past zero seconds. Quit. Remove from /Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-Ins/ folder. Relaunch and wait for an updater. [alert admin]

Symantec Norton AntiVirus 10.1.1 (Mac OS X)
I checked the Get info for Norton AntiVirus.app and LiveUpdate and both show Application (PowerPC) as Kind instead of Application (Universal) like others I've installed before. Is a restart somehow required? [alert admin]

Try restarting is safe boot mode, with the shift key held down and then try to authenticate. Also try repairing your keychains with the Keychain Access utility.

There are 2005 and 2006 R4 updaters
I've found that Safari has problems with Quicken 2005 and 2006 r4 updaters. Use Internet Explorer if you still have it. If you just go to the Check for Updates menu item in the Quicken program, it will bring you to the right page, just set Internet Explorer as your default browser (if temporary) or copy and paste the URL into Internet Explorer.
