Clean Your Mac 1.0 (Mac OS X)
This program is a joke isn't it? Where is the customization of which caches and logs you want cleared? Not only does this program lack any control but lacks anything other free alternatives can do better! Sorry but even if St. Andrews Software paid me $20, I wouldn't use this garbage. Its too bad the ratings can't be set lower, this program is a dismal failure. [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5600.0 (Mac OS X)
Looks like the OSX 10.5.3 update broke something with Parallels Desktop 3.0.5600. When I leave my windows or programs open in Parallels Desktop they start flashing like crazy. Happens when I switch from Parallels Desktop to any Mac program or the Finder and switch back to Parallels Desktop. Basically if anything overlaps Parallels Desktop's window it goes nuts when I switch back to it. Temporary fix : Resize the Parallels Desktop window or switch from full screen to window and back. Bounceback Professional 8.0 (Mac OS X)
I tried this horrible software just for a joke, the developers couldn't pay me enough to use this ugly Windows port. For personal use I'd rather use CarbonCopyCloner, and others may find SuperDuper or any other OSX Native copier far superior to this sorry excuse. Save your money, look elsewhere for better reliability, better GUI and better support. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.5.3 (Mac OS X)
Just finished with the 10.5.3 combo stand-alone update, no problems to report. Disk permissions is a bit faster but not by much :( [alert admin]

Azureus BitTorrent Client 3.0.5.2a (Mac OS X)
Still nothing comes close to the power and flexibility of Azureus ! Fastest torrent downloads, if you can master its myriad of controls ! And for those whining about "Vuze" , turn it off, there is an option to switch to "Classic" or "Advanced" . duh I used to use Transmission, but its useless for bad ISP's. [alert admin]

Microsoft Messenger 7.0.0 (Mac OS X)
I agree with last commenter, nothing worth wasting the time on with this crap for the average user! Still a far cry from Live Messenger on the Windows platform, still can't send messages to people off line or receive messages when I'm offline line Live allows WITHOUT the email crap option! Blech! Trojan Killer 1.3.2.1 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
This tool is absolute garbage. Finds too many things and has only one option to remove all threats, including the stuff that was ok to begin. Ain't worth the download! [alert admin]

Apple Safari 3.1 (Mac OS X)
Safari 3.1 so far seems to be far faster and more stable with 10.5.2. Unfortunately Java 5 is still screwy, sounds from Pogo are distorted, but if I change the Java Preferences to use 1.4.2, sounds work fine. FireFox suffers from the distorted sounds with the same version of Java too. Java issue not Safari or FireFox [alert admin]

After reading so many strange errors and problems people are having , I have to say something. I was having some very odd problems that no one has had reported with my Finder and Dock and Mail, all at different times over the months. My solution was to re-install 10.5 from the original DVD and then use the latest combo updater on it. I did the archive & install method so as to avoid losing any settings! Guess…

Sounds like you need some sleep for that weary brain of yours. Glad to hear your only problem with 10.5.1 is your ability to stay alert :)

And don't forget to add your feedback to Apple's link below. I clearly stated the beta testers for 10.5/10.5.1 should be shot & pissed on. http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html/

Strange as it would seem, it's your end that's screwy. 1) Fetch Art 1.3.1 Installer.pkg would launch with your copy of /Applications/Utilities/Installer.app , so fix your Installer. 2) Fetch Art.scpt would be launched from within iTunes, and if it fails to launch than your AppleScript is damaged. So fix your Applescript Since this not a standard application of any kind it replies on your Installer and Applescript to be working. Just re-install the last/latest OSX combo update for your…

Scott: You have a number of options. I'm using a newer iMac 17" Dual Core Intel based Mac with 10.4.10 and never had any issues nor with my older G4 eMac for years. Create a test OSX account via your System Preferences / Accounts , log into it and try LimeWire from that account. If it works then kill your LimeWire folder in your regular OSX's account from it's Preferences folder along with a file…
