iVideo Converter 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Some peculiar things said from the developer makes me wary of the program now! Developer claims to have changed the coding to make it faster. In reality there is no difference to the 32 bit Intel coding in version 2.0 or version 1.3.7. The only difference now is the newer ffmpeg file used and no more PowerPC code. I did a test a run on version 2.0 and version 1.3.7 on my iMac and there was no noticeable speed change. The developer says this new version is ready for 10.6, no it's not because where is the 64 bit coding???? Previously I would have given this tool 4 stars across because VisualHub even being defunct beats the snot out of iVideo Converters converting speed. But for this really odd claim to drop PowerPC support to make the program faster when in reality it doesn't make the slightest difference. I now give this tool a bad rating for sheer laziness and for misleading people! [alert admin]

Little Disc+ 2.0.6 (Mac OS X)
That is truly pathetic. This was once freeware but because of a bad review it's now shareware , bloated and expensive. Features - Deserves a 1 since most of the conversions are freely available using Apple's Disk Utility and the rest with Terminal if you really need to convert some lame or obscure wincrap disk images Easy of use - Deserves a -10 , the GUI looks like some lame wincrap app. No resizable button, the icons are cluttered and similar looking adding to even more clutter and confusion. Value - Deserves a -10 , I'd sooner spend good money on a light weight program like DropDMG combined with the free Apple's Disk Utility and Terminal instead of feeling like I just got ripped off with Little Disc Stability - Deserves a -10 , Little Disc is compiled from RealBasic making it very slow, unstable , limited, bloated and unreliable. 'Nuff said You are more than welcome to ban me from using a product created by a developer with the intellect of a spoiled 10 year old pretending to be a Mac developer! [alert admin]

I wouldn't trust this as far as I could throw the developer, their server and the foolish way this scam software works. Recovery via internet has got to be the stupidest method of data recovery I have ever seen being used. Then the pricing structure is a pure scam just like another data recovery program uses. If you can't recovery your data with Drive Genius 2, FileSalvage, Stellar Phoenix or DiskTools Pro, then save your money in desperation for a real data recovery specialist with a clean room instead of lame scams like this software because the price will be about the same then! PhotoZoom Pro 3.0 (Mac OS X)
I never tried the old version discussed below. But I really liked this version. Did exactly what I wanted with great results. Excellent product and well worth the asking price. Thanks for the great work on PhotoZoom Pro !! [alert admin]

The Cheat 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)
I gave this tool a try, and it failed me miserably. But I won't do a negative review if the developer is keen on changes because The Cheat does have potential. I tried iHaxGamez which puts to shame The Cheat ! With iHaxGamez you search for the number in the left, wait for the game to change that number and then pause it and use iHaxGamez lower right search box to with the new number. So easy that someone even made a video for it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRUs8_tZI4o iHaxGamez - http://sourceforge.net/projects/ihaxgamez/ So if the developer really wants to make The Cheat worth using, I'd suggest following suit with iHaxGamez and allowing a search to compare the changes, otherwise people will be blindly changing numbers at addresses in memory or crashing their games. Microsoft Silverlight 3.0.40624.0 (Mac OS X)
Didn't do diddly squat for me. Yet another MS product deleted from my drive. Can't these people get anything right? I also agree with the earlier comments . MS is known to "bait and switch" or discontinue Mac support at their own leisure when the heat is on about fixing the 1 legged dead horses they call software. [alert admin]

On the developer's site it claims to be FREE. Wouldn't this be FREEWARE instead then? [alert admin]

CheckIt System Performance Suite 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Anyone foolish to think this suite of tools will help their Mac's then I have a bridge to sell you for 1 Billion dollars. 2 out of 5 tools packaged may help you a little, TechTool and Spring Cleaning, but the rest is pointless. 2 backup/copy tools and a compression tool. Allume is either run by retards or they are just a greedy company hoping to cash in on stupid people. It's too bad Allume didn't stick to windows garbage [alert admin]

I think you've been messing with too many solvents and fried some brain cells. APE has been rock solid for years. I've been using Windowshade with APE for years and never had any issues.

I guess the old adage "Small things amuse small minds" rings true for you. I just tried the demo of this program and thought it stunk enough for a -5 star review.

Has someone been smoking too much crack lately? Parallels Desktop will NEVER work on a PowerPC G5 nor will VMware nor CrossOver or any other newer Intel ONLY emulator. What a pathetic claim with pure lies

Uh yeah, your comparing a BETA version of Desktop Parallels 4 to a stable release of VMware Give us a break with your BS. Until Desktop Parallels 4.0 is actually released save your comments for the developer's forum. Desktop Parallels 3 works just fine for me and you couldn't pay me enough to switch VMware!

You'd rather buy an obsolete G5 Mac and a winblows machine? Not very bright are you, for the same money or less you could buy an Intel Mac and do 2 platforms in one machine. I have a 2400 baud modem for $1,000 if you wanna buy some more obsolete crap.

If you guys are confused now, wait til you move out from under your parent's wing. It's quite obvious he wouldn't recommend the early stages of version 9 and was quite pleased with the recent updates. Pretty sad that you couldn't comprehend such a simple thing
