AAPLStockDock 2.3 (Mac OS X)

Broken?

Ever since 9/4 the stockdock will not update... No matter how many times I refresh I end up with the red icon... Note that my internet connection is fine (otherwise I couldn't have posted this)... [alert admin]

SoundConverter 20070410 (Mac OS X)

Nothing Happens

For some reason, every time I try to convert a file in a wav or an aiff, the program seems to end up doing NOTHING. I don't know if this is because I haven't paid the $10, but when I drag the file over (either starting as an aif or wav), I can see the console on my system going crazy, however when everything is done, there is NO sound file created... If this is indeed some kind of shareware limitation, it would be nice if the program told you that. Otherwise it would seem that this program is incapable of converting many of the format choices it has available... [alert admin]

Feeder 1.4.3 (Mac OS X)

Takes some time...

It took me a little time to figure out how to configure a couple things, not everything is intuitive right off the bat... But after figuring out there were additional selections server settings, i was able to get all the files to go where I wanted them... Otherwise everything seems to work great... [alert admin]

Proteus 4.12 (Mac OS X)

Won't Run on Intel

I payed for Proteus long before it became free. I loved the program (and to a small degree still do). I recently got a MacBook & today tried to use Proteus on it. Proteus crashes out before it finishes loading. In other words it's completely incompatible on Intel systems... Oh well, guess it's time to find a new client... [alert admin]

gDisk 0.4 (Mac OS X)

Doesn't Work

I launch the product and it proceeds to tell me there are no gDisk labels on my G-Mail account and asks me if I want to create some. I click yes and the product proceeds to do something, then it immediately says again that there are no gDisk labels on my account & asks if I want to create some, and again if I tell it to the same process repeats... DVD2Pod 0.2 (Mac OS X)

Works on G3

This program seems to work perfecly fine on my G3 iBook. Unrelated to that, however, I am having problems with a 2 dvd set that I have. For some reason I am only seeing 2 episode tracks, however the DVDs have 3 episodes on them each. All the extra tracks are present, but for some reason 1 of the video tracks on each dvd is missing... All my other DVDs show up perfectly fine... [alert admin]

Maybe I’m not understanding this thing...

LapCop's directions recomend setting up a firmware password, which when activated make it impossible to install a new copy of OS X without the password. Essentially the theif would be stuck using the LapCop protected system no matter what (or simply not using the computer)... And I used LapCop with my G3 iBook when I first got it. I had my motherboard replaced by Apple (warranty repair) and LapCop no longer worked (because v2…

Please be nice...

Okay, here's a quick description of problems. I installed it then opened the Pref Pane. I then click "new log" and get a new log entry named "Console" by default. I define the settings. I then click "New log" again and NOTHING happens. That is unless I click duplicate, then I see every new log entry I've created AND the duplicated one. I however cannot select any other logs (only the origional Console log stays hilited). …

Torgo

The choice of sound was because that was the Torgo theme... Nothing else would have been appropriate (you can get more info about this by checking my About Torgo page)... In the read me I state I'm actually looking for someone who can help me figure out how I can do just that. I'm still a novice when it comes to programming for the mac. And the character size was chosen as that was…

He DID carry a walking stick in the film!

Actually the comment was in reference to the origional AfterDark module. In the movie he carrys a black walking stick with a black hand at the end of it. In the AfterDark module he has not stick, or at least, if he does it's not visible (i.e. maybe they animated it as black and as a result you can't see it)... I added the stick a REALLY long time ago (don't ask me about…

RE: 1 star

OK, I fixed the default preferences & uploaded the changes. However if you've already downloaded the screen saver & used it, you won't notice any difference... As once the preferences are created, unless you manually delete them you will never see the difference...... I'm not even changing the version number here, but if anybody stumbles across this before downloading, they should know it should work... Should being the operative word... ;)

RE: 1 star

I did find 2 small problems, only one of which (of what I found) could have done this... The first is that the default walking speed starts out way to fast. The second is that wobble vertically starts out being on, but not being checked, though checking & unchecking it fixes this... I'll have to double check these, but they're not issues that effect the saver adversely...
