Roxio Popcorn 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Roxio Is Starting to Act Like Microsoft & Apple 
I purchased Popcorn from Roxio. The software did work as described. However after my computer crashed six months later, Roxio would not allow me to download the software again. I wanted to use it on the same computer with the same license number. However, Roxio charges $5 for the ability to download the software again in the future (beyond three months) and I had not purchased this program. It seems insane and "dark ages" for a company to do this. It cost them nothing for us to download it from their site. And, as long as it is being used on the same computer or with the same license number, I can see no reason to charge the fee. I'd shop elsewhere. [alert admin]

I agree. It seems as if Roxio needs to get their act together with operationally and their customers are suffering because of it. Shop elsewhere.
