Steel 1.1.6 (Mac OS X)
Doesn't have ton load of bells and whistles, but rock solid and works great! Have had it for 2 years now and never had any major issues. Though, entering your serial when doing a reinstall where you have to grab the apps serial from inside to register the product is a bit annoying! Other than that, like it alot! [alert admin]

Awaken 3.1.5 (Mac OS X)
Great simple intuitive and powerful software! May take a few minutes to figure all the settings but it's great and highly customizable. Though, it is also quite easy to just set a simple daily workweek alarm! Wakes from sleep even when the app isn't running! NEVER have had a single problem! Thank you Awaken! [alert admin]

Application Enhancer 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
2.0.2 INTRODUCES SEVERE SLOWDOWN FOR INTEL MACS ![]()

VERSION 2.0.2 CAUSES A SEVERE SLOWDOWN ON STARTUP AND APP LAUNCHING. THIS IS MOST LIKELY CAUSED BY A BUNCH OF PREBINDING AND RUNNING OF ROSETTA. THIS FIXED A LOT OF APP CRASHING WITH 2.0.1 BUT NOW MAKES IT TAKE A VERY LONG TIME TO START APPS. I WOULD UNINSTALL IT TILL THEY SPEED UP THIS FEATURE. THATS WHAT I DID. [alert admin]

TransparentDock 2.3.1 (Mac OS X)
Updated for 10.4.1 (version 2.3.2)
As always, Versiontracker is slow on reporting. The app has been updated to work with Tiger 10.4.1. Goto www.freerangemac.com to get the update. [alert admin]

FruitMenu 3.4 (Mac OS X)
I too have to voice my concerns with the lag. I originally paid for this so that I could quickly access my Applications and Utilities. Now, it's quicker for me to simply click on the Finder Dock icon and select apps from there.... I don't if the additions of System icons affects this, but I would forgo that in exchange for NO LAG! I love Synergy and paid for it a year ago. I don't use it though now. I do check back every once in awhile to see if they have added the ability to browse your entire library via drop down sub-menu from the menu bar. I know this might suck up alot of resources on some people computers, but on my G5 it shouldn't be a problem. If Wincent would put this in like You Software does, I would use it everyday and donate again! [alert admin]

Pastor 1.6b3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
This is by far one of the best programs (free mind you) that I have ever used. I used to have my passwords spread in multiple places. When doing a fresh install I would have to make sure to transfer over my .Mac Mail info first then search through emais to find my registration info. Needless to say, Pastor eliminates all that, it's all in one place. Solid, and it's free!! Now, I don't have to create a new login each time for the NYTimes, Snapfish, or Real Audio, just cause I want to read an article, look at pics or download Real Player. Thanks to whoever developed this. I will send a donation! Scott [alert admin]
